I didn't know there were follow up books. ..and the list gets longer.. 😆I thought you might do the thing where you snap your fingers and (POOF!) color! lol. The banning of this book is so perfectly tragic as it is about censorship. Humanity's secession from memory, regulation of knowledge and abstinence from emotion are complicated and adult issues that we encounter as children. Teachers who can convey cerebral, abstract and confusing intangibles to children are priceless (Lowry's use of the apple and light as biblical and Promethean symbols of forbidden knowledge, for example).
