I have always had a love for hammered guns myself but always stayed away from the double barrel with hammers being right handed it would slow for me to get the left Barrel Hammer engaged quickly making me reach up over top that's why I always stayed away from those but now that they got safeties on safeties I could go that route thanks for the video
It's a beauty and mine has even better wood. I love it and also bought (2) .45-70 slide in barrels and it works smart too with trapdoor level loads. ;) I love the hammers, but also have an over-under 3.5 chamber if I need more. ;)
Is there anywhere on this video where the entire gun is seen? Never got an idea of overall lines of the gun. For a video that is introducing a new product, this one fell short of my expectations.
@@ThrowingCopperCRA-2022 Ain't that the truth! It's sad that lawyers and litigious individuals can dictate how to manufacture traditional firearms. Thank goodness I bought my Marlin lever guns decades ago when people weren't so thick! The only hammer side by side I own is an old 16 gauge by L.C. Smith made in 1916. I have never fired it. I can't imagine it with a tang safety!!🤣
How much does it cost.? It is a Beautiful shotgun, if it was my I would cut it off to 18.5 " . To make a coach shotgun. I have done this before with double barrel shotgun.
If you live in the U.S. there are several distributors that carry it. One is grabagun the other is budsgunshop, both are online and ship to your local FFL. Prices are the same for both stores atm at U.S. $479 but Buds includes the shipping in the price.
We have a different idea of what “stunning wood” looks like!….I’d call this very plain wood. Other than that I liked your review. I think it would make a great Cowboy Shooters shotgun.
I purchased a Winchester Model 1400 Mk II semi-auto 12 gauge with an Aluminum receiver back in 1973. Everyone said it wouldn't last and that I should have purchased a Remington 870. The gun functions as good today as the day I bought it. I can understand the esthetics of steel on a double though.
Proof tested means they fired 3” shells through it and it passed. Proof marks have nothing to do with it….oh and it’s made in Turkey. Please do your research before posting a video.
Rude way to put your comment. Do better. Try to not discourage people from engaging in the conversation. He's quite obviously an ally. Why would you want to offend him?

Like it, but don't care for the loud markings on the side of it.
Horrible, manufacturers should stop doing that.
Agreed. Won't buy with that.
Nice to see its a hammer model for a change, if they make a longer barrel model id buyt one.
Find a used HUSKIVARNA You can thank me later.
The Swedes build guns, the Turks are learning...
I like it, would love to see a range test with slugs
Great to hear a good old South African.
Excellent gun review!
This must be new on the market, I was not aware of RIA offering an exposed hammer sis shotgun.
It was announced at the end of 2023/beginning of 2024 but inventory only hit the dealers shelves a couple months ago.
As I told my daughter in law...YOU are the safety....that other thing is just a button...
an idiot
A very nice looking weapon
Safety is most definitely a US import requirement. It has ruined many a Tokarev pistol as a direct result
Ordered a real trigger and replaced to fix mine
I really like that that gun

Same thing I was thinking, no idea what this gun looks like overall
Is that a split in the choke tube at 4:57? Looks like it could be, but not sure.
Certainly looks like it. Shotgun has gone back to the dealer so I cannot say for certain.
Great looking gun. Pray tell what it goes for???🇺🇸😎
Buds has it for about 480. Of course add tax and transfer and it's roughly 550ish.
Perfect for social occasions of the worst kind.
Correction, mule ears not rabbit ears.
I've heard em refered to as both. And their hammers. Striking a pin.
Thank you
A double with hammers and a tang safety? 😂😂😂 lawyers have pervaded everything.
Just like a safety on a lever action. 😜

beautiful but can't find any practicality on it. esp when I already own a mossberg. wish my mossberg looked as beautiful as this tho :(

I'll stick with my L.C. Smith F quality 16 ga.
Lucky you.
Great quality and a sweet caliber.
I'd live to get this in 20ga.
It's only available in 12ga
16 gauge?
12ga only
How can I purchase this. Please tell me.
Go to your local gun store and ask them to order one for you.

MSRP ?
Last I saw was mid 500.
Price or How Much $$$
???????
last one I saw on the self was 570.
Lowest atm is U.S. 479 here in the States. Grabagun and Budsgunshop carry it.

I get your point. I todays bland synthetic world, all wood is stunning (maybe I should have said "nice"). Thank you.
The graffiti on the rt. Side would have to go.
Yeah, looks like a neon "poser" sign
Agree it’s as shitty looking as the safety
Oisin should pay Ratso immediately
West Country accent?
Eastern Cape.

Pretty sure proof testing is 3× the normal powder charge & NOT 3" SHELLS
@@ericschulze5641 May be but it’s still not going to have proof marks.

Looks like a copy of a Chinese made one , imported by century arms.
4 damn minutes, I still dont know the barrel length. Finally 5 minutes.
Google it.... !
