I met Russell Mitchell at the timonium bike show in Maryland years ago and man what a great guy. Talked to my girlfriend and I for awhile. Let us check out and sit on his bike. Never rushed us away and even signed an autograph for me. Still have it today along with a great memory of a great dude.
Thanks for your constructive comment Brett. This bike is a stock Harley Softail model, with stock suspension, and with the seat, pegs and grips in basically stock position. I absolutely loved riding it. I'm not quite sure why you would have a problem riding it beyond the end of your driveway? Maybe you don't like leaving home without your windshield, saddlebags, back-rest, stereo, Mum, etc.?
Café bike I just rebuilt ground up doesn't even have turn singals or any controls on the handlebars besides the levers

I love exile bikes. The are so clean, and functional at the same time. They are truly beautiful daily riders. I always went with Russell’s bikes in the build offs. Owning one would be a dream come true

Russells bikes not only look killer but unlike some other builders stuff they actually work.
Cool rear wheel, adding an uprated S&S engine to one of Russel's modded bikes could be a nice thing to do.

What i like about exiles builds is the simplicity and the tough look. Alot of the choppers u see out there now, those bikes cant be ridden without falling about from what i hear. And why the hell would u wanna ride a bike u spent two hours cleaning just to get it dirty after riding it an hour.

Hey nice video. Quick question regarding the internal throttles and clutch... how is the performance of the clutch in slow speeds? And are the front and rear brakes coupled together?

Joe, contact the shop if you have questions please (see comment below). But clutch works great at slow speeds, and yes, the brakes are integrated.
bobberguy1 - I can only assume you have never tried to actually contact Exile Cycles. If you pick up the phone there is a very high chance I will answer and a 100% chance I will call you back if you leave a message. The same applies to e-mail. Unfortunately, I am not a teenage girl and therefore do not have the time, or even inclination, to read or reply to all the comments made on RUclips, FB, IG or Twitter - but that is not where serious people do their business. Hey BRETT, I built my Rocker very much same as Russel's in 2010/11 using some of his parts. It is a very comfortable ride for hours at a time. Don't knock it until you try it! FYI. Check it out if you like on RUclips. Harley Davidson Rocker by Carman

Russell(?), first, you're very welcome. Manners are so important these days.
Secondly, I myself don't think being leaned over the tank would be very comfortable on long rides of 300+ miles. The location of your bars makes me think of a 60's Rockers bike. If that was indeed near the stock location of a HD Rocker, so be it. Still looks like a back breaker.
Lastly, you have my apologizes if I disturbed your delicate sensibilities. Chin up m8. Perhaps Mum could soothe those for you?
