I'm back with another food review video! 😎 Without the price and brand name tag, this time I'm finding out what would be the BEST donut for me among the five famous donut brands in the Philippines! 🙌🍩

JCO is definitely the one brand I can eat a lot of their donuts without getting sick of it because of too much sweetness (besides Dunkin’s choco butternut munchkins). I love how JCO’s so balanced with their flavor.

the movements and effects make it more worthwhile for me to watch. actually, I can see their team really put a lot of effort editing the videos and I love it.
JCO is my favorite of all! the other donuts are too sweet for me, while donuts from JCO have balanced sweetness. my favorite donut is oreology, tiramisu, and green tease. if im out of budget i will go for dunkin or mister donuts choco butternut.
For donuts, my go to is Mister Donuts. I agree with Jessica, it is very accessible, in our area I see a lot of Mister Donut stores compared to Dunkin Donuts, and Mister Donut is affordable.
Nope, compared to dunkin donuts, mister donut is slightly cost more. Like 3 to 5 pesos

As a long-time audience for Jessica Lee's vlogs, I think I am just used to the older cinematography where the camera stays in one angle for a few minutes before panning to another angle. This video pans to so many angles that it made me dizzy by the end of the video 😅 This is just my opinion and experience. Maybe it's different for the rest (hopefully) It seems the vlog aims to be similar to Korean-made videos where there's a lot of effects, quick change of angles, a lot of zooming when emphasizing something and so on. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the content and will continue to watch Jessica's vlogs for that.

You are not wrong with your picks. I am a fan of JCO as well. I am from Canada and we have a lot of Tim Hortons and yes sometimes it becomes too sweet and not much chocolate flavor in them.
i think it's a very good value for money doughnut especially when you buy the dozen version, great variety of flavors as well

For me DD- chococandy sprinkle and MD - classic twist.. this was when i was younger, ngayon na tumanda na ng konti gusto ko nalang yung classic na pinoy doughnut yung may cheese sa loob at coated ng sugar pero pag work meeting eme country style at Tim horton's plus kape 😁 Favorite ko talaga any food related vlogs mo Ms. Jessica Lee 🤗

I think to those who likes light donut and not to sweet would go for j co, and for those who loves sweet would go for krispy creme or dunkin. I would go for anything depending on the mood
Guys have respect she chose Mister Donut cos is America & 68 years old plus one of most popular doughnut chains in Japan and younger brother of Dunkin in 1955. JCO is a Indonesian doughnut chain & 19 years old, JCO is underrated inside US & both Dunkin & MD's known for decades sorry JCO

I agree, I tried the Avocado DiCaprio donut ni J.Co and it's really obvious, the taste of avocado is definitely sweet even the Choco slices on the sides and it's sweet, I was shocked that the donut I tried it looks like mint chocolate
Ohhh I am a fan of Mister Donuts here in Japan. Def on the less sweet side and the bread is chewy, not caky. I am kind of curious now how it tastes in the Ph. I did not eat them much back in the Ph since their stores look cheap aha 😂 .
I love the "Spider Web" Donut from Dunkin years ago... It was OOZING with CREAMINESS!

dear jessica lee staff; please buy a cold cut meat machine to thiny slice all the doughnuts so that she can then reassemble layered dougyhnuts and then possibly expolore deep fry roast and baking them in their new combos. you should develop an excel sheet to measure the doughnuts thinness/thickness. and then to randomized thinness and thickness as well. it's a lot of work. but you can build the perfect doughnut ahead of all your other competitors while also building a new doughnut encyclopedia that is based on the assembly of thinly slice various doughnuts at their price points (so weighing and also dating them for expiry date and measuring such variables)
this is similar to a diversified investment strategy, combo random everything

the editing is targeting genZ & those others who are used to tiktok style. They have very short attention spans and im sure even this video would have a lot of skipping. Kids these days do not enjoy intros and intermissions or any long evaluation- the just skip to the final verdict.

I've been away from the Philippines for more than a decade now, but I still crave Mr. Donuts. Probably the only donut brand I really ever liked, Krispy Kreme is everywhere here but I find it overly sweet.

for me, overall, jco talaga kasi grabe yung sarap and variety of flavors...damn. it terms of plain glazed donut, krispy kreme matic na yan. and dunkin donuts if i want choco butternut and yung strawberry filled donuts

Choco wacko is the most chocolatey for me and one of my fav together with choco butternut 😍😍
In my opinion, I prefer donuts with their unique characteristics. Dunkin for the softness of the donut, J.Co for its unique flavor, Krispy Kreme for the glazed donuts, and Mister Donut for affordability (also liked their eclairs). I rarely tried Tim Hortons though.

I've outgrown the hit of overly sweetness in donuts (aside from their other pastries), so I'm mostly having Tim Horton's, that pairs nicely to a hot coffee, even the texture of the dough. Next will be J. Co coz of the dough texture that is soft to the bite.
blueberry, choco loco and don mochino is a must have in JCO 🥰 premium donuts without the super sweet taste compared to other brands

Why is the choco butternut priced at 60php? It might be the choco wacko butternut variant, which is totally different from the original choco butternut which only cost 35php.

I rarely eat donuts but I like Dunkin Donuts and Krispy Kreme. I know a couple of American supermarkets that also sell donuts, Safeway and Lucky

‘Bat kaya iba-iba ang presyo ng Donuts sa Pinas, example sa KRISPY KREME hindi standard ang pricing. Dito sa Thailand kahit anong flavor pa yan standard na 45baht ang presyo… tapos ang Dunkin usually Buy 1 free 6 sila.
