- Jason Weigandt previews the final round of Lucas Oil Pro Motocross from Hangtown, with a special interview with Eli Tomac and his mechanic Brian Kranz, who will end their 11-season run together tomorrow. According to our stats, the duo is second all-time in rider/mechanic wins in AMA motocross and supercross. They could score another one tomorrow, as Hangtown has been very, very good to Tomac.

We almost got to see it this weekend in the first moto. His times were dropping and was about to go full Tomac, then.. he slid out on the off camber. Still got to see him win the second moto

Tomac is absolutely incredible, he has only missed one race since 2016 and that was in Houston, thats an incredible stretch of 5 years of no injuries.. can't wait to see him on blue..
i think tomac is gonna be hard to beat on that star yamaha next year, even for dylan. they have the fastest 450 in motocross rn and eli was beating them at the last 3-4 races

Great Show Jason, it was nice to listen to Tomac and his Mechanic just shoot the crap. No pressure. That has to be a great relationship with them being together that long. Very high pressure situation week in and week out.
Sad to see the Kranz & Eli combo come to an end, But Kranz has said before that he misses his family. Being a full time race mechanic is no joke. I'll miss him.

With all these changes going on with Eli, new team, new mechanic I'm hoping he comes out swinging and fired up, because that would be a good excuse to ride like your only riding to get a paycheck, and for me that would be hard to watch

So, Tomac & Ferrandis on same team- each the best in the business (Now what) they draw straws?
Both ET3 and DF14 happy with their set ups in the same bike Tomac beats Ferrandis, IMO hes finishing to make it clear who the best is (MX) and the top rider when hes on the Yamaha, SX is a totally different story.
Tomac will have to improve his consistency.

Lots of soy and nut based cheeses out there. That said, there are plenty of chocolates without milk 🤷🏼♂️
@@JohnHowerton137 Right, I knew that about both, that's why I was a little confused about Dylan's comment. I wonder if Eli is also vegan? I'm curious because Dylan seems so spent at the end of his battles, but Eli is like, let's do another moto???
@@jedielder7970 as a former plant based long distance athlete (mostly Raw vegan), I can assure it's not a disadvantage for Dylan. It's arguably his advantage. Eli isn't a vegan for sure. He's too thick. He's just a strong dude, with grit and good technique, who grew up with World Class athlete parents. He also lives at altitude (huge advantage) and he's also use to arid environments.
@@JohnHowerton137 Yeah, Eli is a machine and very talented... but so it Dylan. It makes sense that being vegan, in many cases, makes somebody thin and light, which could be an advantage in some sporting events. For motocross, the power-to-weight ratio could be better. Of course muscle and strength comes into play as well, or women would be doing better, in general... but I've heard interviews with excellent women MXer's and they admit that men definitely have an advantage because of their strength. Motocross and long-distance running are pretty different (I realize you were not saying they are the same). Just giving some props to the beast that is Eli and asking a question. Thanks for chiming in, I appreciate it.

I don't believe Kawasaki will win anymore championships for quite some time. They have no rider after Tomac leaves that can keep it on two wheels. They will have to get some major talent and there are a lot of young bucks out there that could win, but they gotta find em. I guess for a few years they will be Kawasucky. GO YAMAHA!
