  • The Worx 40v max cordless chainsaw packs a punch. A great chainsaw for the average homeowner. It is quiet and lightweight and does not have the fumes of a gas saw. With a 14" bar you can cut down a wide range of trees. This saw uses two 20v batteries that charge at the same time and provide 40v of cutting potential.
You can find this saw here on Amazon:

Neat to see Worx's design. We just got a Craftsman cordless chainsaw for all the reasons you mentioned in this video re: noise, smells, etc.

These new high power battery saws are so amazing. There is a danger though. I feel that when a gas saw is running I have more respect... but the battery typw is just as capable of cutting... a leg.

Wonderful how well a factory sharpened chain cuts, they need to send you a chain sharpener next!
I really like the idea it uses two tool batteries instead of a different special single battery. You don't have to purchase a separate expensive spare battery and additional special charger, just a nice tidy collection of tool batteries takes care of everything. Well Done Worx!
I would like to see Worx upgrade that safety side switch to be ambidextrous, activate from either side not just the left side, there are lots of times I have needed to hold a chainsaw left-handed to make a cut.

Seems like there would be a way to have the safety on the bottom of the handle like stihl. For a right handed person its no issue. Are saws meant to be used in the left?

@@ToolsTechAndGear There have been a few times I've used a chainsaw left-handed because that was the only way I could get it where I needed it.

I've got a few Worx brand tools and they all do very well for what I use them for. I've got the AeroCart, the JawHorse and the JawSaw and have no fault with them.

It seems like a quality brand. I have the impact driver, drill, chainsaw. And weedeater. All are working well.

The new mic was proving its worth as you were dragging the trees into the woods way away from the camera.

I have thoroughly enjoyed that new mic. It's amazing how far it will pick up. I need to finish the review on that .it reaches well over 200'.

Hello friend, I am about to buy a chainsaw and I am undecided between the worx WG322 or the SKIL PWR CORE 20 CS4562B-10, which one do you recommend?

I have not used 20v saws before. The two saws that I have used are both 40v. Lots of power. Because I have other tools by worx I like them. The batteries are interchangeable. Both of the saws you have listed seem nice.
