I followed all the steps but when it gets to Download, it hangs for a minute and gives me an error message "download fail". I wonder why this is happening.

I got it. I put it in EDL mode too early and it timed out. If anyone has that problem just exit EDL mode (press volume down and power for about 15 secs) and back on EDL mode. That will fix it. Worked great. Great tutorial.
