Soccer City was one special stadium! Years prior to it's rebuild, it was almost embarrassing to think that a World Cup final was to be staged there, but it turned out to be beyond our wildest dreams, staging some thrilling clashes throughout the tournament.
I remember I was in 8th grade classes in my school in mexico got suspended because we were playing the inauguration. It wasn't supposed to happen but everyone at school protested near the principal's office. It was nice.
