Water and fireworks could be seen as polar opposites. Both are a formidable phenomenon if only you could marry the two and using more than just the reflection quality of water.
There ia a range of fireworks specifically designed to work in water and when conditions allow can be used to great effect. There are cakes constructed to deposit their payload into ponds, lakes etc. Once in the water the projectile rights itself and delivers its effect. As you can witness in the attached the effect is stunning and can offer the element of surprise to a viewing audience.
For obvious reasons still water is desired when using these as a tide or flow risks the chance of pyrotechnics where they are not intended.
