i had the freewing 64 mm red and silver version...it was a had launch plane...it had no flaps... mine ran on a 3s 1600-1800 mah 25c pack... i got only 3 mins flight times...it was a pretty cool plane... Back then i think i paid like $100 shipped to my house..that was 9 years ago...this one seems very well designed and a bit larger air frame then the one i had..

Since you are there at the airport look for an orange Wind Sock. It will tell you which way the wind is blowing. You would land into the small end of the wind sock and also if the wind sock is fully extended out you would know the wind is blowing at least 15kts or 13mph KTS (knots) to MPH you divide 1.15 to get MPH
That was a disappointing crash. The canopy popped off and landing gear bent🤣🤣...testament to the durability of this plane. Thanks for the stall tip. I'm thinking this why my Eflite Cirrus crashed a couple years ago. I never had a plane with flaps before.
Wow awsom Nate...nice to see some hand launches as thats wot i have to do with most of my planes. One idea i think you should start doing and do with some of your other planes is start putting your gps in the battery compartment to see the speeds of your planes,,thats a good excuse to pull every plane you own back out for a flight to see the speeds. Id really love to see that and im sure all your other watches would also like to see. thanks to you both for your awsom content.
Heyo RC saylors, I recommend the RTF OMP hobby m1 RC heli. It is seriously, the most beginner friendly collective pitch heli that I have EVER flown. You should totally check it out because I promise that you won't be disappointed.
I really like the F-86 and to hand launch it I installed an Aura5lite stabilizer which is a great help with it's launch assist. That way I put my transmitter to the ground, give full throttle with my foot and throw the plane in the air. It climbs in 30 degree angle upwards until I give some input with the transmitter and take over control. It has really nice flight characteristics and sounds great. This is the 3rd edf I got from Arrows hobby. They are all worth the money and a lot of fun.
Actually i think the best thing about having your AMA Card is that it allows you to fly a whole bunch of flying fields from other area,s as a Guest Rc Pilot especially on a long road trip around the county side

It contains everything a buyer would like to know about this model, from the ground start to it's flight characteristics during a hand launch. I didn't see the stall coming at all, but Nate managed to save the plane. Excellent reaction. The durability of the model is also really good. I'd like to write a last comment about my mistake and will delete my comment on the other video. Your videos are family friendly entertainment and they contain absolutely nothing, that could be used in ten or even more years by some mean school children to annoy your little daughter. Writing such a comment at night was a very stupid idea from me. You're producing videos, your child can be very proud of. The more I watch your videos, the more I discover the quality of your work. From what I've found hand launching the best way is to treat the plane as if its a American football overarm and up gives more power to the launch and higher up helps to gain control from transfer from plane to controller ✌️ from the UK
I want to challenge you to do a few right hand launches. I’m betting you can be on the sticks just as fast as you’re able to correct now, and less stress to correct from due to a struggled (wobbling) toss.

Nate, I just got my arrows f-86, yesterday. It's so nearly perfect!!💥😍 mine would not c.g. with a 2200mAh 4s it was tail heavy. I had to remove a pinch of foam up front to get a 2700mAh roaring top 35 c 4s to c.g.. Finally she had perfect c.g. at 135mm measuring from very tip leading edge of wing back, with either a 3000mAh HRB 60c 4s, or a 3300mAh 4s roaring top 35c. Very light weight jet with tons of thrust, for sure! I've got 4 flights already, two no gear, hand launch, belly landing and two rotating off the gear. Really, really nice jet. I think with the way your f 86 hand launched and then stalled when turning, later on, even tho you where slow and had full flaps, your f 86 is tail heavy. Or you just need to hand launch right handed. Because my sabre just blasted off strait and level gaining elevation easily without dipping any. Honestly as far as hand launching goes the f-86 is as good as they get. Your f 86 was trying her best to stall on hand launch, so ya tail heavy. If your flying with a 2200mAh 4s shes definately tail heavy. Anyway, the jet didn't notice the heavier packs since its so light weight and powerfull. Besides the extra thrust you get from higher mah packs and higher C rated packs is more than the extra weigh and a 5 minute flight!! You will notice the difference in speed and verticle punch with the 3000 mah. 60c packs. Altho this sabre does have tons of verticle. Really love this jet. I detailed my canopy and now my f 86 looks real. Arrows should have painted the canopy better!! But for 200$ you get such a nice jet! Its ridiculous! So nice to land, as well. The 4s 64mm edf that comes in this arrows f 86 is the strongest I've ever tested. I'm so impressed with this thing😍💪👌💯😉anyway hope you have better luck next f-86 go around. Atleast we know shes one tough bird as well as everything else so great about this rc jet. Flys so smooth as well!! F-86 ROCKS!! This is one great value and bad to the bone edf!! Oh yea, one other thing this jet model is super scale, for all you guys that are into real look and shape, shes got it!!😍💥 I meant to leave this comment on the hand launch video but some how I messed that up. Still I wanted to talk this bird up and mention my tail heavy theory to you!👍📸😍
Try putting the elevator on a switch, and put about 4-5% up flaps on it. Try it with un underhand toss holding just behind the cockpit. This will limit the toss to about a 30 degree max arc on the pitch....Once the plane is away and stable, flip the elevator switch back to neutral for normal flight.....This works much better than the flaps down on the toss, since that also adds drag and not just lift. Try it and see how you like it....
Could you explain how Vector works, the 3 positions and limitations of each. Thanks! I have the Viper and the Marlin, but they didn't come with Vector.
Vector System Rules, Don't buy the aftermarket versions, Plug it wrong and it Fries. Kooks don't give You any instructions if You buy it aftermarket. RCCastle sells Them. If You find out how to use Em, post Your results? Beauty Dale, My Viper is running with an ORX Gyro. I finally got it Stabilized. Ahahah!

Dude, you need to put more oomph behind that hand launch. And think about this...to start out...of all the places to hold and launch a rc plane would be the center of gravity, power accordingly...anywhere else is going to send you plane in one of 4 directions. Hand launching will never be perfect, but give yourself the advantage by starting at cg then work your way whatever direction until your conformable. I've seen guys toss from closer to the tail. Congrats on your subscriptions. Now mine should be here today or tomorrow......

The reason is I just got a CEN 1/12th monster truck by CEN racing. It's a Fiat 500 body, so looks pretty cool. im right handed and i hand toss all my jets n planes with my hand on the top of the fuse directly behind the wing with a 45 degree upward angle and have never crashed a jet that way

Hi When you throw the plain it is at low speed. If the safe mode is on the correction is slow due to missing air flow.
Could you explain how Vector works, the 3 positions and limitations of each. Thanks! I have the Viper and the Marlin, but they didn't come with Vector.
Vector System Rules, Don't buy the aftermarket versions, Plug it wrong and it Fries.
Kooks don't give You any instructions if You buy it aftermarket. RCCastle sells Them.

Beauty Dale, My Viper is running with an ORX Gyro. I finally got it Stabilized. Ahahah!
@@jonoedwards4195 Way to go!! I've got thr ORX V3 Gyro rx in my Viper as well, flies perfect with an Ovonics 3s 1800 80c Battery 4 1/2 minutes flight time.Had to add 24g weight to the tail for perfect CG. Got the F-86 in the mail yesterday.

Dude, you need to put more oomph behind that hand launch. And think about this...to start out...of all the places to hold and launch a rc plane would be the center of gravity, power accordingly...anywhere else is going to send you plane in one of 4 directions. Hand launching will never be perfect, but give yourself the advantage by starting at cg then work your way whatever direction until your conformable. I've seen guys toss from closer to the tail. Congrats on your subscriptions. Now mine should be here today or tomorrow......

Hi guys. cool video as always. The plane is pretty impressive. Ok, I have an idea. Do you ever have CEN or Koyosho models on your channel? The reason is I just got a CEN 1/12th monster truck by CEN racing. It's a Fiat 500 body, so looks pretty cool. Any me remember that Abby loves wheelies. you should give this truck ago it's pretty cheap and runs great. Also very well made and I think Abby will love it lol. im right handed and i hand toss all my jets n planes with my hand on the top of the fuse directly behind the wing with a 45 degree upward angle and have never crashed a jet that way

Hard to beat the price on it though! Flies well and I always have a great time with it when I bring it out to fly 😁 All opinions welcome though, garbage does seem extreme just for an opinion of a canopy. Still, thanks for watching! 👍😎⚓️
