Received my AH 705 yesterday and hooked it up. The thing is phenomenal. Living in a HOA the number and configuration of antennas is limited. The AH 705 flat lined both of my wire antenna's. Its definitely worth every penny. I'll be trying it in a POTA situation soon, where the antenna is rarely ever in a perfect situation. I'm looking forward to it.

I’m no expert but doesn’t the counterpoise only need to be resonant for resonant antennas ? So technically they can be any length in this situation ?

icom has put in the versions sold in Europe, certainly those distributed in Italy, a trivial PL instead of the connector with screw connection combined with the PL that is widely shown and boasted for a functional use of this tuner .... A series markets and markets of series B ??? it makes the customer very dissatisfied
