Carl started the softening of Negan, Judith solidified it. He would literally lay down his life for that little girl and I LOVE it. His redemption arc is going to be so fun to watch.

I think with Negan risking his own life to save Judith and his line at the end to Michonne about how "no one ever thinks that they're the evil one" that he is on his way to full redemption. I could even see it on Michonne's face in that scene. Negan is starting to realize (or maybe he's even fully realized it already) that even though he thought he was justified in the way he ran the Sanctuary years ago, he knows he might have actually been the bad guy and I think he may regret it. I did same thing the other night! Lol.. nikki and steve are so fun to watch my fave shows with that I've been binge watching them for the past week. A great way to recap GoT before the new season 😁
When people say “if we’d been following Negan since the beginning we would think he’s the good guy!” I’m like 🤔 would we reeeally? If we’d seen him cheating on his dying wife, enslaving random communities, pressuring women into sleeping with him in exchange for access to life saving medicine or their loved one’s safety? Would we reeeally think he’s a good guy?
Everyone expects someone to die in episodes 8 and 16, but I guess Angela Kang doesn't like to follow the rutine. It's good because it's less predictable and we can have interesting events in other episodes as happened in 09x15, not always in the middle or end of season. Nice vid!

This last half season of TWD had a lot of similarities to GoT in more ways than just the snow. Game of Thrones has always had their penultimate episode of a season be the most eventful and tragic, and then the last episode of a season is usually fairly quiet and more of a set-up episode for the following season. Feels like that sort of thing with this final episode of season 9.
Angela Kang is awesome. She can make a great finale episode without killing off major characters. Looking forward to season 10. The trailer for season five of FTWD came out yesterday, and, it actually looks pretty good. Are you going to react to it? Awesome video, as always. Thank you ☺☺☺☺☺
@@wyn1hr oh wow I had completely forgotten this ! I first thought he was referring to the flowers Daryl always followed when he was looking for Sophia, as if Carol had done the same to find Lydia here..... but your reference makes more sense ^^ jee this is even darker than I thought x'D
This episode should have been called Part 2 episode 15. It was really the aftermath as the result of the attack on the Kingdom. The snow I think is just a one time deal. There needs a time for healing and planning for season 10. So when season 10 starts, it is going to be springtime. and alpha will migrate north back to them since they went south to warmer places. It is interesting how much territory they cover with their hoard. Its like they collect walkers along the way and take more and more communities.
The part from last episode that brought out my tears was the speech Siddiq gave, as well as the montage of Enid and Tara fighting back. Heartbreaking and shocking.
I think Ezekiel was referring to Lydia when he said what he said to Daryl. "If it was just us..." & not this walking talking reminder around of the tragedy of her son...
The way he was eyeing Carol and Daryl on the road makes me think it's more than that. He knows that they share a tight bond, maybe he's afraid of Daryl's loner ways will rub off on Carol?
Hello. Incredible reaction. The whisperer migrated to the South before the blizzard came and doesn't know the group trespassed. Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful day. 😀✌🏾
Did anyone else know that they named the bridge Rick blew up after him? They name dropped it as "Rick Grimes Bridge" in this episode during when the group was mapping out routes in Sanctuary.
When they were signing the Charter in the last episode, Ricks soundtrack started playing... haven't heard it for so long, thought he was gonna walk through the door right there & then but... nope.... just the music. Sigh.

Awesome episode! With snow for the first time. The group bonding together to survive the storm. Judith and negan are the best team. Carol and Lydia. Very interesting stuff. And the radio. Was it Maggie or jadis? Can’t wait to find out more.
Their needs to be a spinoff with Negan, Judith and Dog! Absolutely love them and this was a great 'set up' episode to next season. The break up between The King and Carol really hurt. Lydia is becoming a very strong character and I really felt for her pain too. You two are amazing as always!!
I think the Siddiq theory is that he says "This is the story I want to tell you", which could be taken as him making it all up where potentially nobody had a chance of fighting back or that many of them may have even begged and tried to backstab eachother just to have their life spared.
No deaths. Whew! Episode was good. My favorite part was the snow ball fight. To see Daryl smiling and laughing was great. And Negan was hilarious in this episode. A first I thought it might have been Jadiss on he radio, but after listening to it again. It kinda sounded like Maggie. Could make out that southern accent. Great reaction and discussion. What a great way to start Monday morning before the work week starts. Thanks.
ikr? I thought it was jadis but the more i listen to it, the more i hear maggie's voice. Maybe it has something to do with the commonwealth or the community she helps to build
These Carol and Lydia scenes reminds me so much of Alicia and Charlie from Fear TWD. Charlie felt so bad about killing Nick, she first wanted a walker to bite her and then wanted Alicia to kill her in the flooded basement with a gun. Alicia was in the same predicament as Carol.
Nikki & Steven React It truly sounds like Lucianna and/or Maggie Rhee on the radio... Maggie recognizing King Ezekiel's voice and/or Lucianna hearing a friendly helpful voice, overall trying too establish clear communication.
Nobody thinks they're the bad guys. That's often stated, but IMO Rick and his group-unlike the Saviors-did not indiscriminately choose someone to murder in cold blood in order to intimidate that person's community they happened across. Rick didn't take wives from their husbands to add to his harem, and so forth. Sure Rick and company often got 'savage' but usually, it was in retaliation. Like upon reaching Terminus, or when Rick bit a chunk out of Joe's (leader of the Claimers) throat, etc. The rare time they acted premeditatedly was when they were told about Negan and the Saviors. and witnessed for themselves their mode of operation not long after their arrival at Hilltop. So Rick's group worked out a deal with Gregory to neutralize the problem. In that sense Rick and co. truly believed they were taking out a vicious group of bad guys before the bad guys struck first. A group bullying communities for their possessions in order to preserve their lives. Gangs did/do that, Mafia, Triads, etc, it's the old 'protection racket.'
Buffy the Vampire Slayer taught me that forgiveness isn't something given because someone deserves it, it's given because they need it. So though they/we may never forget all the shit Negan put our guys through, moving forward with him helping, and on the path to redemption for that? Heck yes he's forgiven. I think some of the other characters in time could forgive him on some level too. I mean, he'll always be a smart ass, but no one can deny he'd be a useful member of our gang. Who knew how much we'd all come to love him?! 😂
Evidently when winter comes, whisperers migrate down south. They don’t have anyplace to take cover. But anyway..This was a tame finale, by walking dead standards. At first I was a little disappointed, but now I appreciate that nobody died. And the voice on the radio..was that Maggie? Jadis? Or just a random person from The Commonwealth? Possibly someone from fear? Kinda sounded like June from fear.
Thank you guys for a great season of TWD reactions! Looking forward to season 10. So glad the show has been AWESOME this season once again! I am completely OK with a slower, more subdued finale - especially after last week!
I like how episode 15 was the big episode this season, kinda like Game of Thrones used to do like with the Battle of the Bastards in season 6. It's a refreshing change for the structure of TWD.
It sounds like Maggie's voice and what Alpha meant is because she knows they crossed and killed walkers in her land. So shes preparing for the Whisperers wars for season 10, shes gonna attack the communities with waves of herds
You had a couple interesting scenes. When Judith said she could not find DOG. OMG a little piece of me died right there. Screaming @ the tv : DOG better be fine.... I ❤️❤️❤️ all the scenes with Negan. the two that stand out to me are. (1)Him stirring the pot in the cabin in the woods whatever. (2) Him going after DOG and Judith saving them. Anyone else noticed the paintings of *Glenn and Hershel* that hit me right in the feels Carol and Lydia bonded in the barn. Carol lost a son but found a daughter. Bad sign for the future. Are Carol and Ezekiel breaking up??????? What was that ending? Overall a pretty slow episode without too much choas. Cause we had plenty of that last week.
Yes. Carol divorced Ezekiel. She tried to give the ring back but Ezekiel declined. Yes, jadis made Maggie portraits of Glenn, Herschel and Beth before the huge time skip.
@@nizzleprizzle9783 I saw Carol taking the ring off,but i thought it was temporary. Go to Alexandria and try to heal from all the sh*t they went through. Oh well
hearing you guys saying it could’ve been worse it could’ve been rosita makes me so sad 😭 cus tara was my favorite and i’m really heart broken over her.. even if it were rosita i would’ve still gotten depressed 😔
Some don't like the finale, but I like the slowed down aftermath of it. Plus, we got Negan redeeming himself. I don't want more action after the penultimate episode.
I thought this season was generally a huge improvement on seasons 7 and 8, and the show has basically returned to its former great quality. I'm not saying this was the best season of the series, but it was definitely great. I really like both Alpha and Beta as villains too "Lydia will walk with us again, or they will all walk with the GUARDIANS"
The anxiety driven horror element they set up with the Whisperers is intense. In the end, they weren’t even around and had gone away cuz of the storm, but we thought they could still be lurking around any turn.
The voice wasn't a Fear reference because the main show is 6 plus years ahead in the timeline. It could be a group from the comics called the Commonwealth or maybe the people who took Rick
I did not expect this episode to be an actual storm but I ended up really enjoying it, it was a bit slower than the recent eps and felt a tad disconnected but I loved all the character moments. Good ep still but not what I had in mind.
Ezekiel also lost Henry’s brother awhile back too. Also did anyone else notice at then end with Beta and Alpha that there was absolutely no snow where they were?
Omg bless your heart I was wondering if the animals got thru with the humans too. I’m a subscriber to your channel now. I was wondering if the commonwealth would help with the whisperer war if they knew about it.
Threat wise, Alpha definitely takes the top spot . She obviously had psychotic tendencies before the Walkers came along, evidenced by her account of watching Lydia suffocate then beating her afterwards. The collapse of society simply amped up that aspect of her personality. The Whisperers also seem more cultish than the Saviors, doing Alpha's bidding without question, like the woman who abandoned her baby with just a look from Alpha. That makes them as a group more dangerous because they're willing to sacrifice themselves.
I'm hooked on yalls Walking Dead Reactions .... awesome couple..... From the accent I’d say it was Jadis.
Alright!!! Lemme get a snack before watching yor reaction. Luv from the Philippines!
The scene with Negan going after Judith was the cutest thing eVeRr😍🥰
I think Zeke was talking more about Lydia since Daryl has become her guardian
Thank you guys for a great season of TWD reactions! Looking forward to season 10. So glad the show has been AWESOME this season once again!
I am completely OK with a slower, more subdued finale - especially after last week!
I like how episode 15 was the big episode this season, kinda like Game of Thrones used to do like with the Battle of the Bastards in season 6. It's a refreshing change for the structure of TWD.
The voice at end is suspected to be Maggie from the Commonwealth... we will see her and Commonwealth next season..
It's been a few months. Ezekiel mentioned something about the past few months and Rosita had a baby bump
"They're fine... they're okay..." as the horses begin to eat each other 😂
It sounds like Maggie's voice and what Alpha meant is because she knows they crossed and killed walkers in her land.
Anyone else noticed the paintings of *Glenn and Hershel*
that hit me right in the feels
Carol and Lydia bonded in the barn.
Haha the first episode where the opening of the vid is somewhat relaxed!
Some don't like the finale, but I like the slowed down aftermath of it. Plus, we got Negan redeeming himself. I don't want more action after the penultimate episode.
If you hear carefully, it was Maggie who was trying to communicate through the radio
Yeah you could hear the accent
I thought this season was generally a huge improvement on seasons 7 and 8, and the show has basically returned to its former great quality. I'm not saying this was the best season of the series, but it was definitely great. I really like both Alpha and Beta as villains too
"Lydia will walk with us again, or they will all walk with the GUARDIANS"
I think it is Maggie on the radio. Trying to make her way home.
Or Maggie?
Regies?
I did not expect this episode to be an actual storm but I ended up really enjoying it, it was a bit slower than the recent eps and felt a tad disconnected but I loved all the character moments. Good ep still but not what I had in mind.
damn, it's 5 o'clock in the morning and I watching this, what I'm doing with my life lol
Being awesome!!!!
@@NikkiStevenReact lol love you guys 💙
When it's really cold, lying under snow would actually keep you warmer than being in the open air
Steven: are there any flowers around...
I laughed out loud so hard I woke up the house.
Best..line..ever lol
“There any flowers around?” 🤣🤣
Im glad somebody said something about the horses!
That Walker corpse just before 9:45 , is that the corpse used in RETURN OF THE LIVINGDEAD pt1?? "She" looks so damn familiar to me??
Ezekiel also lost Henry’s brother awhile back too. Also did anyone else notice at then end with Beta and Alpha that there was absolutely no snow where they were?
18:09 Baby Laurie strikes again something her Mom would do
I don't know if you guys know this, but the actress who plays Judith was in "The Force Awakens."
That was Maggie on the radio!! I thought that was why we saw Glenn and Hershal's portraits earlier in the episode!!
Daryl went John McClane "Die Hard 2" On that walker with that icicle
Hey you two!! You're both awesome ;-]
I've just completed watching y'all's reactions to the entire season 9.......i cant wait till season 10 premier ...question to yall....how many seasons back do yall react to on TWD.....? Again I'm hooked on y'all's reactions.... watching from Corpus Christi Tx area ....
How do you think Michonne reacted when she found out that the the only person that went to save Judith was Nega?
The walkers under the snow were probably insulated from the cold thanks to the snow.
Imagine Morgan's reaction to Henry's death
I'm right there with you about the horses Nikki 😭
I loved this episode❤️ I didn’t want anymore death and I loved the ending with the radio maybe Maggie’s voice? Great reaction guys ❤️❤️
Hey! It been a while! I haven't been watching walking dead for a while but watched the marathon before the finale last night I cried for Henry the most to be honest, he was carl 2.0 with Lydia and they basically killed carl again, plus poor carol, I felt so bad for her losing another child
The beginning of this episode had me in tears again
But may I make a suggestion? You guys should react to The 100! It is a great show I love it!
Father 'You are NOT the Father'! Negan was so good I really want to see him fighting for/with our survivors next season can't wait!
