Taking the second drive axle out take technology back to tje fifties and sixties when trucks were built with a single axle. The second axle was design and built into truck to improve the amount of weight the truck can pull and trailer weight. That idea need to be revisited. The amonut of weight these trucks are carrying has gotten heavier and a single drive axle is not the answer.
+sajones0403 You don't need 2 drive axels. Here in sweden almost every one got a 6x2 configuration. And to get weight on the drive axel we can lift the tag axel. And we have heavier trucks then the USA (132 277lb) and much worse roads and weather.
That is Dome wet only 1 drive axel when you'll get stock how are you going to get out with one axle dive only , Just change aluminum drums and aluminum fifth wheel and am single tires it will take the same way you wanted to spend $36 million, yeah comments engine it's made to take the money from ur pocket
The only trucks here in sweden with 2 drive axels are dump trucks and log trucks. When we get stuck we can lift the none driving axel and get alot of weight on the drive axel so we get the traction back. We get pretty bad winter conditions and we got no problem getting up hills and sutch. And in sweden we drive with 60 tons (132 277 lb)
Haha i'm sorry bad english. I am trying to say that you don't need 2 drive axels. And that here in sweden almost every one got a 6x2 configuration. And to get weight on the drive axel we can lift the tag axel.
Futuristic..??? add some aero pieces and remove an axle drive resistance all while driving 57mph EVERY newer truck can get 10 mph Stupid engineers spent $60 million on what.?
Yes would be fun driving in the winter single axel.?
Brake drums on a truck from 21st century. That's some stone age shit.
Deixa eu ter a oportunidade de dirigir este caminhão por favor
