Mine luckily arrived Friday. Just in time to use at a behind the scenes music video set...it performed so well. Still lots to learn but had a great experience. The grip was definitely needed though. Great image quality, very intelligent auto focus system I found, and soooo good in challenging low light conditions. So happy
Not sure what the spec of the charger is, but all mine that work are 60watt or above. Actually I think I did use my 25watt iPad charger. I go for the bigger watt so it charges quicker.
@@TerryLivesey Thanks a lot. I'll see what i can get on amazon. Meanwhile using my ol d750 charger. /.... Saaay, BIG watts won't blow up the batt, right? Thanks again.
Can't say I've tried to move it, I have cleaned it several times and not noticed it moving and certainly haven't heard it. Hopefully someone else will be able to chip in if they've noticed it.
Ha probably why I didn't notice it as when I clean the sensor the camera is on like on the old DSLRs 😳 Maybe I should check if it's supposed to be off 😬
@TerryLivesey when i think about my fuji xt4 had that same rattle it seems these cameras that have the 8 stop ibis system just need more space to move around and make more sound then the 5 stop systems that extra movement seems to be useful for linking the ibis to the focus point which only this camera has
My ZF is due for delivery shortly. The one question I can't get an answer to currently is in relation to the Pixel Shift function which you briefly mentioned in your 'unboxing'. Question: do you have to import the shots taken with pixel shift into the Nikon software to combine the shots or can 3rd party software i.e.Lightroom perform the same function? Enjoy your Camera.
So far I have figures out that the ‘c’ option mainly works in auto mode. In manual mode it does not turn the ISO to auto but what it does allow you to do is set the FN button to ISO setting and then in ‘C’ mode you can change the ISO with the control wheel whilst the FN button is pressed. This is really useful and on the Z8 it has a dedicated ISO button which this doesn’t. Hope that helps, there will be another video about these features soon 👍🏼
I'm looking forward for my ZF to arrive. I'm in the USA, so shipping does not begin here until October 31. For the time being, I'll continue to watch more of your videos related to the ZF.
That’s weird I’m also in the USA east coast and got mine Friday the 13th. I was very surprised since I was expecting it after the 31st. I love it. You’re going to love it as well.
@@Poludioskroz yeah not tested that yet, too busy with other features at moment (which are ace btw). Only done 80ish shots, have a portrait shoot in a week or so and that will put it to the test 👍
Congratulations... Never been soo excited on buying a Nikon Camera since the D750...THIS is it!
Ha yeah I loved that camera too 😄
Mine gets delivered tomorrow!!
I don’t have any lenses. I got the 24-70mm kit.
I also got the all black.
Good choice in lens 👍 enjoy 😁

Thank you 😊
Unboxing video is good enought for me! Ill enjoy til I order mine
I can't put my it down, just going through all the menus 😁
None of the chargers I have around the house will work. Any ideas?

No the device will take what it needs 👍
I can literally hear and feel my sensor moving in the camera is that normal for the ibis i presume or is mine defective

@TerryLivesey only when it's off apparently it's normal but I dont like it

I believe you need the NX Studio to stitch it all together but I’ll be playing and filming that today so keep an eye out for another video 👍🏼
Can you pls let's know how the Auto ISO would work with "c" on dial?
The manual is already out online, read up on it for details. Basically allows you to control the ISO like all other Z bodies.
@@Omegaparsec Just giving him some ideas for his next video. The lack of this option in Zfc was talked about frequently.

I have mine on order and looking to buy the 50 1.8. Do you have any experience with that lens and would you recommend it?
No I've not used the Z version of that lens, only the F. Have a review coming out for a different make 50mm next month.
Where is the camera made?
The box says 'Made in Thailand' 👍🏻

@@xjr1618x That is awesome! Maybe I might get it sooner than the 31st. Thanks for the info.
How long battery lasts?
Don’t know, haven’t managed to run it flat yet 😳 It’s the same battery as D850, Z5, Z8 which are amazing
Yes,but CIPA says 380 shots,usually it's higher @@TerryLivesey

wish you would have held camera up after you put small rig on, and show us the depth of the handle. you kept your hand over it.
Fair point, sorry about that 🤦♂️
Nitpick: the strap isn't retro, the logo on the strap isn't retro either.
Ha to be fair, it should have been leather but then again it would have been really thin and I still wouldn't have used it 🤔
The overhead camera is too far, it looks like it was mounted on the ceiling
Yeah should have zoomed in more;sorry 🤦 and yes it was 🤣
nope, its perfect
