Thanks for your support🥂
Perfect calculations and implementation thank you
Welcome and thanks for your support too👍
hello , nice tutorial, is this antenna have a good impedance matching and good VSWR ??
Hi, yes. When the S11 (Return loss,dB) is good same goes to impedance and VSWR. You may refer to the relation between Return loss(dB) , impedance and VSWR.

Hope it helps. :)
Hi. I am Liyana. I currently doing my FYP in my last semester of degree. It is related to CST where I need to design a microstrip antenna using metamaterial. May I contact you for some advice and suggestions? I hope you see my comments and I do really need your help!!!
Hi Liyana, Microstrip Antenna Metamaterial Superstrate mainly is to Enhance Gain of the antenna, is combine patch antenna with metamaterial will have 2 layers. You can write down your question here or email me lysstuff888@gmail.com
Alright, just realised your reply. Will email you soon! Thank you for responding 😊
THANKS A TON.
Welcome and thanks for your support.
HOW DID U CALCULATE THE LENGTH AND WIDTH OF SLOT IS 14 AND 5 MM RESPECTIVELY, PLEASE TELL.
Hi, for my case, I just do tuning using parameter sweep. Tune around the slot width and length. No calculation applied.
Hope it helps. :)
@@LYSStuff Okay Thanks
Please make a video on how to simulate bistatic vs frequency in cst
Hi, I have no idea how to simulate bistatic in CST.
@@LYSStuff Hi, Do you know how to simulate multi-layer (stack of 3 or 4 layers) antenna ?
@@sweetychintapikka5963 Hi you may refer to CST help file-> then find "5G antenna array". The design might help you for your multi-layer.
MY RETURN LOSS VALUS IS NOT COMING BELOW -5 dB , WHAT METHODS I SHOULD APPLY TO GET IT BELOW -10 dB?
Hi, I think mismatch impedance of the feed. First, You can use a quarter-wave transformer to do this. Else is the design dimension not suitable for the desire frequency.
However, you need to figure what is the application of the design? If you designing antenna, you might also need to consider the polarization, gain, efficiency, radiation pattern, . etc. Different application might be different design.
@@LYSStuff in inset feed should we use quarter wavelength?
Then again I have to connect another feed line after quarter wavelength?
@@bikashsahoo9152 for inset feed.. No need another quarterwave after feeline. You may refer to this reference.
www.antenna-theory.com/tutorial/txline/transmission5.php
@@bikashsahoo9152 no need, you can refer to this link for how to determine the size of the inset gap and distance to match the impedance matching.

why not adding patch and feed?
Hi, What do you mean patch and feed? This is patch antenna with it microstrip feed.
@@LYSStuff why don't you use" add " to patch and feed line
Now I get what you meant. It does not effect the result. It just combine "add" both conductor design together to become single component. As long we sure both of patch and feed is connected, then is fine. Hope it explain your question. :)
@@LYSStuff thank you
