Hi, For v2 1.95 is follow the d2 diameter divide by 2. for 3.3 GHz please use the helical calculator in description to calculate it. Then find your d2 value. Hope it helps. :)

@@KavyaAgarwalbec hi, you could try to reduce the mesh setting. But if still 500 limit, then no choice. Limitation of student version. You also can try look for helix antenna design in CST example file.
@@LYSStuff You use the 50 ohm coaxial cable, but the impedance of this antenna is 150 ohm based calculation. if just change the coil diameter and spacing of this antenna, the S11 can become ideal but the axial ratio is shown bad. Hi, For S actually is the turn of helical antenna which to increase the gain of helical antenna. Coil diameter also depend manufacturer or our resources we have which type of diameter. Thicker can support higher power. Both of S and coil diameter also depend on your application. compact or big antenna required for ur application. Dear, could you desigin a LORA 433MHZ Helical Antenna, I am devleloping a IoT project , PCB has been finished ,but I need a suitable antena to keep the long distance, the antena should be installed in the box near the PCB. only a small space to place the antena. if you could help me to desigin and simulate, we could contact with email.
@@LYSStuff I followed the guidelines and designed the antenna but i have a problem with the port. When i simulate the the antenna I get this error: "port 1 is inhomogeneously filled with the first 3 mesh cells". I'm using a strip instead of wire in my design and the ground plane thickness is 2 mm it worked previously when the ground thickness was 10 mm but i have to use 2mm.

The design equation is theoretically to achieve the desire frequency. But is not perfect, then we just do some tuning to make the frequency swifting.

Oh my, I have no idea why that error occur after change the thickness. Maybe it overlapping with other component.
