    I just found your podcast and am watching your show each stocking. As I listen to you describe each one and point out how the toe isn't as rounded as it should be, or this or that...I will now say, your stockings are absolutely stunning!! I can "feel" your heart in each one! Last year, I made a quilt for each one in our family. I did the very same as you, even going so far as to buy tags, special made, to say, Made With Love Not Perfection. I labored over each and every one, but kept pointing out the flaws, wearing myself out, as I sewed. I'm not saying you are pointing out each flaw, but it is slightly similar. My husband kept encouraging me with how beautiful they were, etc. Well, of course, when the family members opened the quilts, they did not see any flaws, only the heart that went into making each one. And that is what I see in your beautiful stitching and sewing. Congratulations on a job, very well done!! I wanted to do the same thing...make our great grandchildren some stockings that were cross stitched. However, my hands can no longer take all that stitching. Enjoy the journey...and have a bit more mercy on yourself. You are doing great 💕

      I totally get what you are saying, and I really should take my own advice. For each flaw I see, there are twentyfold beautiful aspects of each stocking. Thank you so much for helping me see that aspect and to allow myself some grace. Have a wonderful holiday season! ♥️♥️♥️

    Wow! I loved seeing all of the new stockings. Remind me to show you the projects we have in common on our walls. It's so fun to see how you stitched and finished them compared to what I did. 🐌 🐇 🦔 💜 - Laura :)

    First time viewer. Love love love those stockings. I’ve stitched two of them. However I sent mine to Vonna to finish. Your finished stockings looked fantastic! Ana I bought my first stocking I think it was in 2013 at a Shepherd’s Bush retreat. And I hadn’t noticed the difference in fabric count. But I love those stocking’s and will be doing at least one or two more. But the marine life one…how brilliant was that?! And they’re all beautiful. Please don’t worry about imperfections cuz you did an amazing job. Andii for sure would never have noticed anything and Still couldn’t see things that you were pointing out. Loved all your previous FFOs. Thx for the video.

    Your Shepherds Bush Stockings are gorgeous! Congratulation on so much finishes! Love them🥰. I only did 3 Stockings and one of them was a Shephards Bush. Love mine too, but I did it on 32 ct.... and all your other Christmas finishes too!

    Hello! I happily ran in to you here on the tube. It's nice to see other tubers who are in the same sort of subscriber number as myself, so I understand how you really do appreciate each new subscriber. Kidney!!What a great gift, holy cow. Piping is not my favorite thing to sew. The stockings are wonderful!!

      Thank you for stopping by and for your kind comment! The piping wasn’t so bad once I figured out what kind of cording worked best. I’m hoping that I can keep some momentum on my sewing skills and try other things. 🪡

    Your stockings are such treasures. I'd love to do stockings but I can never decide which ones! I put my orts on a thread bed until they become obnoxious and then I toss them. I wonder how many I'd have in a year 🤷

    The stockings are fabulous!
    I love paper planners. I gotta write things down. I love the look of so many digital planners (like the witchy stitchers) but I know I'd never use them fully or very long.

    😅😅😅don't bring guns or knives to your fights! You should make that a PSA! Could we bring a needle, maybe a pair of snippets 😅😅😅. I love your stocking's. You've inspired me. I also keep orts in Mason jars to someday put in my craft room. I was going to suggest using for pillow stuffing. Have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. 🎄🎁🎅🏽

    So awesome that you finished them all! I am new to cross stitching after 20+ years away from it. I really want to make these stockings. I purchased the Martha’s Stocking and it came today. I was hoping to find a tutorial on how to make one and came across your channel. I don’t know how to start lol. Do I cut the shape of the stocking after all of the stitching?

    • @TheRedneckBifocalStitcher
      @TheRedneckBifocalStitcher  8 месяцев назад

      Yes, cut the shape after you’ve done all your stitching. I watched the Vonna Pfeiffer stocking tutorial a bajillion times to make sure I got everything right when I FFOed them. Feel free to reach out to me, too, when you’re ready to go! I’m excited for you!!

      @@TheRedneckBifocalStitcher thank you so much! I watched her finish the stocking. I’ll go back and see if I can find the stocking tutorial. I’m excited to make them!
