  • The strike areas depend on what situation you are in and I want to stress that if your life is in danger then you have to save your life so look carefully at the strike points that can cause fatal damage.

Plan to mix these striking points in with my Muay Thai, nice video. If you must strike the face, i think the jaw is a pretty nice point also. If you get enough torque in the swing from your hooks, its light out when that brain shakes in his skull.

I'm enjoying these videos but wish the cameraman would move around the subject to show the points being highlighted better. Other than that, very interesting.

BIg muscle guys have more area to hit and if they are super cut, the body becomes a road map of nerve points and veins. Also, big guys don't really train for pain.Size is over rated. Tendon strength and ligament strength are more important.

Alba Whiteman Nerve point attacks are hard if not impossible to apply in a real brawl. They also rarely work when an adrenal dump and combat mindset are in play. Techniques that make someone tap in training will likely have zero effect in a real fight - or simply piss them off more. The arm strikes he shows here are a good example. They have no chance of being fight stoppers if the threat is intent on fighting you. He'll probably not even register you hit him there until an hour post fight when the bruising comes out. Your generalization about big guys "not training for pain" is ludicrous. That could apply to anyone. There are three big guys in the video and they are clearly training with pain involved. You could be skinny and not "train for pain".

I'm surprised he missed the obvious target, plain as the nose on his face. Namely, your opponent's nose. A hammer fist, a slap, a ridgehand, you don't even have to break the cartilage to reach a state Jackie Gleason named in Smokey and the Bandit, "now, that's called...an attention getter"
