This was the tribute I was waiting for, they made me feel like Prince was there but just waiting to come out on stage, the energy of this tribute was definitely Prince's energy all the way.
In my 22 years of living, I don't think I've ever been moved by a tribute. Since I never got a chance to see Prince live, if Sheila and all of them go on tour I would definitely pay to see them.

Sheila is an incredible lady! The performance she did for the tribute to Prince at the BET Awards had me in tears, it was brilliant! I know if Prince was still living, he would be so proud of her! As a Prince fan for over thirty something years, I was proud of her!

Lets put it this way, Sheila channeled the very essence of who Prince was on that stage Sunday night at the BET Awards. Compared to what Sheila did and the rest of the artists who paid Prince tribute at the BET Awards the Billboard Awards should be ashamed.

I must say, she pulled that tribute off like only she could have done. Great performance!
Sheila imma try to do that slide when I get to 58. You rocked it! Despite the health issues you've had over the years playing the drums and percussion, you did your thing. Prince would have stood up when you did that slide.

The holding up of the purple guitar and then slowly lowering it really got me. It so signified a salute to Prince and showed how much he was loved and will be missed. Great job Sheila E. and nice to see Mayte.

Most definitely! Icon is nothing short of class personified!!! A standard that ALL so-called artists should follow. She is the epitome of what ICON means. anything else is sub par.
She's so humble and amazing ! I bet Prince would have loved her tribute. I will definitely look out for her album and if they go on tour (the NPG, hopefully The Revolution too), they need to come to Europe too, because I'll buy my ticket in a heartbeat.
Sheila E. is over fifty years old and she slayed! Love her spirit and energy. BET did the damn thing this year.

Sheila E is a beautiful woman inside and out. Such a emotional tribute to Prince. It felt like Prince was in channeling through her. Loved seeing Mayte as well. God Bless Prince's soul, he will be in music heaven jamming away.

Brilliant!!, brilliant, brilliant, all performances dedicated to prince were brilliantly done. Its not easy trying sing princes ballads that the geniusiness Prince Rogers Nelson had and electricity he brought to millions when he got on stage. Shelia E. stole the show with her magnificence perfomance and her profound love her and prince shared in their throughout their artistically.

Yes this is an excellent idea, the Tour!! Hope Sheila E will come to Europe. I will absolutely go and see this amazing tribute for Prince. Inviting Mayte to join them for this special occasion was a perfect idea.... She was really great as well.

that words can't describe. To see Sheila E dance and perform like Prince would have was the ultimate tribute. I seen many tributes and wished Prince was on stage singing and dancing... but this one I didn't .. because it was obvious that Prince was there in spirit on stage with ya.. singing and dancing...
Highlight that brought tears to my eyes.. seeing Sheila and Mayte.. Holding the blue cloud guitar...
So glad to here that you are taking the show on the road... hope to be able to make one of them..

It was a just so beautiful and emotional. I just can't help but notice the pain she has in her heart over losing him. I'm elated that she has decided to continue their unit and tour! I'm going to be there!!
