the most impressive, touching character of this series. I miss him.
Same. And everyone hates him now. I can’t believe those people. They keep saying he raised Harry to die but what did they want him to do? Tell Harry he was destined to die when he was 11 years old? And they also say that he just stood there and didn’t help Harry at all. That’s completely false. He helped Harrys more than you can imagine. And he couldn’t kill Voldemort himself cause of the prophecy. And Harry knew what dumbledore did, and all the mistakes he made, and yet he still named one of his kids after him. That just shows how much Harry loves dumbledore, regardless of what he did. So those people have no right to hate dumbledore for what he did to Harry if Harry was never mad at him.
@@jineenmansour Deeply agree. Though he once got a wrong way and made a terrible mistake, he truly learned from that and tried to make a world better place for the rest of his life. That is very hard and difficult, but he actually did it, until the very end of his last breathing.

People hate him saying that he let harry be abused... What choice did he have? That was the only way he could ensure Lily's protection would work. It is better to be a little abused for a few years than to be dead.
People say he raised harry to be a pig for slaughter, but what choice did he have?
Either he could save one boy and let thousands, possible millions die, or he could sacrifice one boy and save the world. He had no choice!
Besides, Dumbledore only found out that harry was a horcrux only after harry came to Hogwarts. Before that, he knew that however small, there was a chance for harry to live after killing Voldemort. And the gleam of triumph in his eyes at the end of goblet of fire shows that his plan succeeded. Even after so much, Dumbledore ensured harry would live after Voldemort died. That is why there was a gleam in his eyes. So the only duration in which he actually thought that harry MUST die was a small time after finding out that harry was a horcrux and before the rise of Voldemort..
Most of them probably read a Dumbledore bashing fanfiction.

Dumbledore is a wonderful protagonist in the harry Potter series , guiding the good wizards and witches in their battle against the evil wizards and witches following Voldemort the epitome of Darkness.
