  • Fights in Tight Spaces returns as the originator of Turn Based Thursdays. This time around, I will be showing all of my best attempts at the Weapon of Choice DLC until I beat it.

Pretty good play, especially for your first time playing Weapon of Choice campaign!
I'd like to call special attention to the turn at 23:45. It would be really tempting to dump a whole bunch of damage in on the Cutthroat, notably shooting him with the Quick Shot+, thus getting as much damage in as possible on the turn you bother clearing his dodge. However, then escaping via Roll Throw would put the player in the corner with two healthy enemies cornering them next turn.
So, shooting the Prisoner with the Quick Shot+ makes it so that next turn you're still cornered, but one of the enemies is easy to kill, making it much safer! Thus I think that was a good call.

Oooh good point! Thanks for watching and even more so for the feedback. I'm always in learning mode trying to find the most optimal way to spend a turn, and when there's lieutenants in a room, I always feel inclined to focus them down first and foremost. Been playing too much Banners of Ruin where that's usually the best play to make, so that kinda transferred over to FITS where you're right, would be better to take down the weak enemies first.

@@TheSinlessAssassin It's kind of funny how the assassins turned out in this campaign - the knife guy, who you would normally assume would be the most aggressive enemy who's most ready to attack, is actually more of a stone wall designed to get in your way and be hard to kill, but he's not much of a threat on his own. I often leave him alone until later depending on the map and enemies.
The rifle guy, to contrast, is a tremendous jerk and definitely has to be killed ASAP. The map immediately gets so much easier when he is dead, it's incredible.
