Had the 2024 si , slow but really nice gearbox and interior. Wish they had a different motor since the 1.5t blows head gaskets just looking at it. I know it’s “hit the corners” car but every car in its price range has 220 hp or more . Hopefully they do something different for the 12th gen since hybrid is as power level
I think it’s a great car for the money. You get a lot of features and options. I like the fact that it’s a manual. I’m just unhappy that they got rid of the satellite radio option with all the great features they’ve added it the only thing missing other than maybe lumbar support in the front seats.
31k for 200HP and FWD is tough to swallow. At least you get a 6MT and decent sized car. A nice car nonetheless, really. More power or less price would be ideal
My Integra A Spec Tech 6M is pretty loud. A major complaint among users. I had to purchase during the chip shortage, and extensive test drives were a rarity because nobody had vehicles in stock. Changed to better tires to reduce some NVH, buts it’s still louder than a basic Mazda 3.
I sold my 2018 coyote mustang, 6 speed manual , tuned with over 500hp. Got the 23 si new at MSRP. Don’t miss my mustang at all. You think I’d miss the power but the civic is peppy enough to keep me happy. Amazing handing, flawless manual transmission, great LSD, outstanding gas mileage, all the tech you ever need. Great interior space. I look forward to driving it every day. Love this car. Worth every penny
Nobody wants an underpowered sedan. If they made the Civic Si with two doors, and 250-300hp it would sell like crazy. Nobody wanted a sub 200hp 2dr Civic. No brainer why sales slumped.
@@andylegan6043 the CTR is a sedan. Honda hasn’t made an exciting, attainable coupe or two door is the S2000. The NSX is out of most people’s price range and they stopped making it also.
Hate the color, love the car. It definitely needs the following options: rear USB, rear ac/heat, and ventilated front seats. I’ll happily pay for these features!
Don't worry the Civic Si doesn't offer Blue as a color anymore Honda will only offer like 4 colors. That Gray (you are driving), White, Red, and Black (unfortunately).
I just got the 2025 si i love run’s flawlessly and the 12 speaker bose system is top tier
Great review!! I own a 23 Si and ABSOLUTELY love it.
Same!

or just more power 😂
@@getsomehelp-jp2ho yep that's why I put "or" in my statement. Thanks for reinforcing my English fluency.
they should've made it 2.0L vtec. honestly worth it
Yeah a bit put off by that red vs black door panel front vs back split.
I myself would have preferred all black.
Only changes from '24 I see are fog lights, wheels, and black window trim
The Si also has heated seats again! 👍🏻
What happened to Cory? I do watch your channel and enjoy your videos. Sharp looking Honda Civic Si.
We were just out of the country on vacation while the drive event was happening, so I asked Dave from to step in for me.
@@GTGarageTalk Hope You, Holli and Tucker had a wonderful time on your vacation. Dave did a great job, but you do a whole lot better!
Since you mentioned Acura. The Integra has a pretty loud cabin too?
It has more sound deadening.

This thing needs at least 220 to look appealing
Don’t knock it till you try it.

Is this the Si Sport or Sedan?
Si Sedan
Call me a skeptic, but the grey color looks like it's just the primer and the body is yet to be painted.
200hp, so its a warm hatch/sedan.
😂
I see what you did there...
29K? I asked everywhere and to get this babe out of the door you will need to shed at least 39K for it.
