Hey Brian, thanks for this, beautiful soothing sound. I learnt pull off trick through another of your video but never tried it on these jammings. Would try them today. Playing notes on a backtrack is one of the most pleasurable things I like to do on my uke. I’ve tried jamming with backtracks available on RUclips. It’s so improvisational that it’s almost only in the moment that I realise the fusion that I ended up making with the backtrack and I find that intensely satisfying. If you could guide me towards some good backtracks, or if you’ve some of your own creations, we could use them to jam on too. In any case, thanks for this video. Always something to learn :)
Thanks for the feedback and insight. Often times, I watch the folks on the Andertons Music channel. When they do product demos and jam out, I'll try to play along and figure out little things. I'll try to make more tutorials and backing tracks on my channel. Cheers!
What chords are being played with the backing track? Could you play the backing track for about 8 measures at the end of your play-alongs so we can play with the pentatonic scale?
I made the backing track with low G ukulele by fingerpicking a basic C chord, 0003, and occasionally inserting an F chord, 2013. Thanks for the feedback on the 8 measures 🤙
Thank you Brian for the play along! Wondering if when you video you could have a camera setting where we can see the full ukulele and both of your hands. This way we can listen and watch and then play along. I am very much a visual learner and it really helps to see all the elements in order to put it all together
@@bliumusic Thank you for the reply. I came across your videos a few days ago and really appreciate your way of teaching. Looking forward to more videos in the future!
I like it. Nice and smooth
I play guitar and I'm definitely going to purchase a uke ,
You've inspired me ,Think a change of sound is needed
Many thanks
~Love my nice ukulele...enjoy
Why you only play with three strings? You don’t use the high G. Why?

Watched you on Cynthia Lin's channel where you were demonstrating licks and I really enjoyed it!
Glad you enjoyed it. Keep on jamming! 👍
You seem to have a lot of sustain is that just the uke or electronic aid. Lovely sound though
Good ear! I used a compressor pedal to even out the dynamics and get more sustain.
Brian Teaches Music thanks
Thank you, please keep up the good work……. ❤❤❤
Beautiful play along!
Thanks! 🙏

Thanks for the feedback, Lucinda 🙏 Yes, I've been dabbling with a two-camera setup. I'll get that up & running soon. Thanks for your support!
