I’ve got the crate, I gotta get the little kit he’s got. I once bought the crate at a plumbing company I worked for. I really liked how versatile it was for me. Well it stayed with them and now I’ve bought my own.
That angle on the edge of the accessory box is also the same angle as the corners of the boxes, so you can stand them up inside the boxes and use up all of the room in there.
I always felt like the spirit of it was that you've got your crate there where you're working and you need a quick place to shove the bit holder temporarily. When you're working, you pack it all up securely and head out. I wouldn't leave it there permanently.
No just 2 pair of channel locks, some wd40 a crow bar and hammer to get one of those bit out of that little case. I swear ppl at Milwaukee super glued all Mine in lol
Milwaukee is ridiculous. I do IT, I use their tools to mount servers and occasionally drill through desks. I can’t justify buying the packout but I want it!!
Just put some die electric grease on them they slide right out it don't take much so little you can't even see it on them but it works on anything that slides together
I just bought 4 of those little red bit cases because Milwaukee makes the best bits! Project farm did a video about it. Anyways, the bits are hard as hell to get out. I bet the whole tower would fall over if you tried to pull a bit out while it was clicked in
Don't pull the bit straight out. Don't think of it as a single move of "snapping" the bit in or out of the holding clip, it's a two step move- you pivot the bit so it's "standing up" in the holding clip, then you pull it out. Super easy.
Great addition for Milwaukee Product consumers I’m gonna open my box to get out my drill, my bits are stored in the same box, no huge drawback to Keeping them in an IP rated (I dunno) waterproof box I would refrain from doing this unless you know nobody is gonna steal em cause you can’t put a lock on that 😂
Maybe he did some kind of modification every one complaining about how hard it is to get the bits out just put a small amount of die electric grease on them they will come out easily and I'm not a Milwaukee fan boy I don't care for them but I'm not downing anyone that likes them I use that grease on anything I have to assemble it makes taking it apart alot easier I use it on electric disconnect and they never get stuck in it's an automotive product I started using 30 years working on cars but it's good for anything silicone based so it's waterproof
And then he turned one day older and he learned that it just falls out. 😂 You gotta glue it, because there is no locking mechanism... at all. If you haven’t noticed by now, exterior knick knacks for packout are not something Milwaukee cares about.
What lower boxes are them? I need a deep one without the aluminum rails.....what I'm trying g to do my packout cooler won't lock into the packout mount I got cuz the rails on my box stick out to far. Thanks
Wow holy SH** 🤯🤯!!! This was awesome except it took me about 3 hours to find my eyeballs after they popped outta my head from this genius little discovery!!!
👉those little bit holders are annoying and time consuming to use. Just toss all your driver bits in an organizer tray and have easy access. Dip in when you need something and drop them back when done. same with hole saws. use the organizer bins to step them up in size, one or two sizes per bin and you'll never waste time snapping them in and out of those silly cases. That's why I keep my organizer tray(s) on top on my tool stack.
Damn now I have to go buy a crate
I’ve got the crate, I gotta get the little kit he’s got. I once bought the crate at a plumbing company I worked for. I really liked how versatile it was for me. Well it stayed with them and now I’ve bought my own.
yup I have enough of the bit cases to buy 5 crates now
🤣Same thing always happen to me, I spent 650 bucks in two days cause of packouts
@Phillipm-zq2ch you needs vise grips and a prybar to get the bits out.
BEST FUCKING COMMENT 🤣🤣💯💯
Wtf doesn't milwaukee let people know this stuff damn you just made my life easier
Think they were planning to but I wouldn't trust it. As it's held by friction if there was a bitch then yes
They call em easter eggs haha there’s no fun in it if they just tell you everything 😂
Pretty sure every feature is in the manual…
Drill a magnet into the crate
They do but these dummies don't read the booklet that comes with the shit they buy
all these youtube guys have the CLEANEST tools and packouts lol
they never use them as intended packout is meant to be used on all terrains on a JOBSIGHT but they use it in a workshop
Cos they never leave the Garage
Right?! 😂 Mine are beat to hell after a day.
That is clever, but also seems like a handy way for those tools to fall off and _"go where the woodbine twineth."_
“Oh no i left my bits in the car” *finds the box of bits somewhere random while i was rolling my packout system into the job*😂😂
It also snaps to the inside 😅
@@0MAR5AL1NA5true i saw that in amother yt video
That angle on the edge of the accessory box is also the same angle as the corners of the boxes, so you can stand them up inside the boxes and use up all of the room in there.
Only thing that bugs me is they are not consistent sizes.
Battery as a hammer 👍😅
Just as good as using a flathead screwdriver for a chisel and a pry bar 😂
Nice! I admit I didnt know I could do such.. only got my packout 2days ago. Thank you for sharing😊
You just upgraded my life BIG time lol
Awesomesauce!!! Now I know why they all go together!!!
Tip, they fit inside the rolling box in the corners, either side of the handle also. Just doesn't clip in.
It’s more of a coincidence that it fits there cuz it definitely does not lock into place, especially if you have your pack outs in a work vehicle
Yeah I tried it in a store once and it was not anything I’d feel comfortable with
Hey, anything locks with enough glue.
I always felt like the spirit of it was that you've got your crate there where you're working and you need a quick place to shove the bit holder temporarily. When you're working, you pack it all up securely and head out. I wouldn't leave it there permanently.

Mine in lol
Stand bit up. Pull straight up. It's that easy.
"Annnd push...... now your in"
"Fits right in there perfectly"
HOLY SCHNIKIE'S❗️❗️❗️
THAT'S FREAKING AWESOME ❗️❗️❗️
They do come with these things called instructions. It that pamphlet you get that most throw away.
Milwaukee is ridiculous. I do IT, I use their tools to mount servers and occasionally drill through desks. I can’t justify buying the packout but I want it!!
Thank you.
Now you just gotta tell us how to easily remove those nearly stuck impact bits from the carrying box.
Yes please
With pliers or tin snips.
Just put some die electric grease on them they slide right out it don't take much so little you can't even see it on them but it works on anything that slides together
@@donaldpainter956 I’m absolutely pissed and ever thought about just putting a little bit a lube in the container.
Should be easy, the trays/rows they’re in folds up 90° so you can access them easier
Wish it worked on more than just the crate!
I didn’t even know I could attach the small boxes to the top of the crate 🤦♂️😂
I love how literally everything fits together like a glove
I was today years old when I still can afford that packout 😂😮
Thank you! Been trying to figure out how to add those onto the crates!!!
I posted me trying it on my channel where it falls out. Let me know if theres a trick, or if my case is an older generation. Cheers
This is the crate.
I just found a use for that crate!! Following you now!!
Well if I ever get the pack out system I'll be sure to remember this.
I just bought 4 of those little red bit cases because Milwaukee makes the best bits! Project farm did a video about it. Anyways, the bits are hard as hell to get out. I bet the whole tower would fall over if you tried to pull a bit out while it was clicked in

Badass man. I just had the idea of transferring the insert but position and drill it in the box so I can secure it with a machine screw.
I have every nit set case and packout available. This doesn't work atleast for me it falls right out.
I was also today years old when I learned that. I always thought to myself, where am I gonna put these little cases.
Iv since bought the packout and have all my bits in my packout case. Way better then the old red case that only took up space in my packouts
fits in there just perfectly 👌
I have the whole Milwaukee PAC out those things take up so much space I don’t know if I’m happy or pissed
Well Damn!
Happy Birthday to us both 😅
No, i think it was thought of because of the coincidence you can still see the milwaukee logo, and the bit holder opens
😂😂😂 I was just thinking they should make that a thing lol
Whomever designed those things is a OCD, can't sleep, genius, thought of almost everything. Almost everything. Genius. Inhopebthey got a raise. Wow.
Problem is it doesn't stay in
Reminds me of the dewalt storage bins, I use to have 3 together and like 3 packs of the drill bit set together made storage my small stuff ez af
I have a miluakee bit case that looks like it’d fit perfectly in the normal pack outs but idk how, it dies have the tracks
Bru, game changer! I am todays year old.
Thanks for the tip!
“He’s probably out cheating on me”
Him-
Legend has it he's still fascinated about it
You have finally taught me something
What the product called? You dint have anything linked
Lock in? Liar, liar pants on fire 😂
When he started trying to put the battery on, I was waiting for him to shake his finger and pull out a Chinese knockoff
Now it's like my Flex system, except the Flex bit sets are touch release. Packout will catch up
What!!!! How did I not know this
Now if I could make myself put the bits back in the box. Except for a few bits I use daily, mine are one time use.
can also do this w the rolling packout crate and the rectangular bit boxes
Great tip! 👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks for sharing 😊
I love the battery hammer
Ugh! IVE BEEN WONDERING WHERE THOSE GO!
Mine doesn't seem to work lol 😂
They make new stuff with features we sometimes miss because as all men we immediately throw out the instructions and owners manual.
dude I didn't even know this, I have a lot of packout
damn my ridgid stack does the same thing and i got the whole stack for the price of that bit case
😂😂😂😂😂
Thank you
That’s nice! Just gotta remember to put it up before getting stolen
Wow !
I never knew that, thanks
Is there a video showing how to easily get the bits in & out?
That's why I like Milwaukee
I just bought packout bit cases. Oh well. I do like the new packout bit cases and they were cheap
Great addition for Milwaukee Product consumers
I’m gonna open my box to get out my drill, my bits are stored in the same box, no huge drawback to Keeping them in an IP rated (I dunno) waterproof box
I would refrain from doing this unless you know nobody is gonna steal em cause you can’t put a lock on that 😂
I just tried this on my crate, and the case keeps falling out. Could the cases be different?
There are different size cases
Didnt work either
Yeah it doesnt stay in place i tried it too fuckin sickend 😢
Whaaaaat?! Oh my god trying this right now!!!
Its fun on a perfect flat surface, any bumps and it will fall out
Bruh it worked the first time and now it just slips out after like 3 seconds
sounds like a normal tuesday night
Honestly i like to mix and match my tools from dewalt to Milwaukee all red for me its an overkill
Shit now i went from wanting one to needing one
But have they fixed the cases where you need a set of pliers to pull your bits out?
Just went from 6 to midnight
the battery 😵💫
Yea that’s a great idea let’s bang the box with our battery 😭😭🤦🏻♂️
I was thinking the same thing, impacts are bad for batteries
If I opened my bit case like that, theyd all fall on the ground
Whaaaatt!🤯
Thank you for those free boxes of bits o.0
Hmm. Maybe there’s something wrong with my box cuz it just falls back out lol
Same
Maybe he did some kind of modification every one complaining about how hard it is to get the bits out just put a small amount of die electric grease on them they will come out easily and I'm not a Milwaukee fan boy I don't care for them but I'm not downing anyone that likes them I use that grease on anything I have to assemble it makes taking it apart alot easier I use it on electric disconnect and they never get stuck in it's an automotive product I started using 30 years working on cars but it's good for anything silicone based so it's waterproof
How comes milwaukee did not tell us about this ?
I guess it's their version of an Easter egg and I'm here for it
They forgot Robert the engineer quit to go to eco tools he just never told them how good he was I miss Robert
And then he turned one day older and he learned that it just falls out. 😂 You gotta glue it, because there is no locking mechanism... at all. If you haven’t noticed by now, exterior knick knacks for packout are not something Milwaukee cares about.
Eyes wide open lower jaw on the floor emoji
Mine doesn’t fit that tight
Thanks
What lower boxes are them? I need a deep one without the aluminum rails.....what I'm trying g to do my packout cooler won't lock into the packout mount I got cuz the rails on my box stick out to far. Thanks

Problem is I have 2 of the cases now I have to get a box
I need that hammer. So compact.
Not the sticker that says it on all their stuff 😂
I’ve known about this for nearly 2 years
I must have smaller bit boxes or a different crate version
Fairly annoyed I just threw out the case recently cuz I didn’t know where to store it
Wow did not know that
That was worth the $100
Crazy
