+Лора Савченко So Glad it helps. Your English sounds really good. Would you consider translating the episode into your native language? If you are interested you can do it right here on youtube.
Really disappointed they chose to include that in the final edit! I've seen dozens of these videos in different languages, and this is the first one that's not rated G. It'd be great if they'd put a warning on it. These are educational videos. Of course, they're going to be used in classrooms.
+kkomas Thanks, words like yours inspire all of us to do what we do. Thanks for watching. I will put out new episodes every Tuesday with closed captions in several languages. Thanks again.
Great episode! "First class!" was very touching ☺ I loved the slip about the world tour around US 😛 Cool that you keep those. 👍 On a different note, I feel so blessed to have had a free higher education here in Russia.
+Anastasia Semina Thanks for the feedback. We try to keep in the honest most spontaneous clips. And yes, student loan debt in the US is utterly crushing. I have nearly 100k in student loans. Education is not a commodity or a product to be sold. Yet, the U.S. sells it like it is some of the most expensive jewelry.
+Roxana Ir That would be Awesome! I am trying to get the community closed captioning turned on. It should be turned on and available by tomorrow. Thanks a million for any help you can give.
+Kegan Terry I'm Mexican, I've been studying English for like 6 years already, and I still can't even notice the different accents in this video. When I read "southern accent" I was like "ok, let's hear... nope, it's the same to me" But I have to say that American accent is so much easier for me to understand than Birtish or Australian accents... maybe it's because as Mexican, I've always been influenced by American TV and movies. British English might sound cooler than American (you know, more classical, elegant) but I can't really understand much.
+adr14ntr That's probably right. I'm Australian but I understand East and West Coast American accents just as easily as my own since I grew up surrounded by American television. The British accent is harder for me to understand haha
I certainly can, I just don't really know where they are from. For instance, the woman at 4:11 has a very different accent to the one I'm used to. Out of all the USA accents, I might only be able to distinguish southern, New York's, Texan and Californian apart but that's about it... I can guess oh this is from Kansas or this one's from Louisiana but yeah, just guessing. I notice the difference though, I have just never lived in the US therefore it's all Greek to me, LOL.
You need to divide the show up into three American regions (northern, southern, western American English) to more accurately reflect the American people and their regional dialects. For example, southern American English tends to playfully draw out their vowels and speak more slowly, while northern speakers tend to talk really fast and with a more British-influenced accent. Western accent is very relaxed and quite informal (for example: “Hey dude, what’s up?” can be often heard in the southwest, including California.
Awww! Is there maybe the whole channel on American English from Easy Languages? 😍 I’m in love with this episode! 🥹 & actually find loving your whole content, Easy Languages ✨🫂🫶
Hi! Unfortunately, currently, we don't have any active co-producers to produce Easy American English episodes on regular basis. Once we find a team, we will do our best to provide more Easy American English content and open a dedicated channel. 😊 However, we have the Easy English channel, which focuses on British English. If you are interested, here is the link: www.youtube.com/@EasyEnglishVideos/videos
Hi @@easylanguages! I see, no worries, I'm happy to read that! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for finding these beautiful souls who would produce more Easy American English
Why does everyone think you have to be a millionaire to travel all over the world? I went to nearly 25 countries in Europe for an entire summer a few years ago and the whole thing costed less than 5,000 dollars(and that includes airfare). Geez, people! If you want to save some money to travel the world, don't go to an expensive college, don't buy a house on a mortgage that you know will take DECADES to pay off and don't buy a lot of useless garbage all the time such as every damn new I-phone that comes out. I'm not saying winning the lottery won't help you achieve your world travel dreams, of course it will. All I'm saying is you don't have to break the bank either on going to Australia or Japan or Hawaii or wherever else you want to see in the world. PRIORITIES,PEOPLE!
+Richard Schiffman The problem is we Americans want to travel high class. If we're going to travel the world we're going to do it like the Royals and go all out expensive.
+Richard Schiffman I believe you have a point. Many people from the U.S. feel very far away from the rest of the world. Thus, everything feels so far away. As a college student who came from a poor background, I would here the experiences of others who have done or planned to do European travel and I would immediately think... I will never be able to do that. It was a given in my mind, because it was quite a big thing to me. Yet fast forward to today and because I have always had an interest in travel I have made many trips around the world (Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, Germany, Iceland, South Korea, Mexico, Canada and all over the U.S.) I think it many times is a pre-conceived notion that world travel is just out of our reach for many Americans even though with a little saving it is very attainable. For Europeans, traveling to a different country is like us traveling from one state to the next for us. So in essence, people in the U.S. do travel as much as everyone else. We just have a huge country.

XD i saw this one video of a British guy doing accents, he did a german one, a french one, and both sounded ok. He did the American one and he sounded like an evil car salesman xD
Could you guys turn "Easy American English" into a separate channel? It'd be amazing!
In my opinion, the contributions of this channel is no doubt and even beyond many expectations. Acquiring varied accents is intriguing.
The old British couple is so adorable ❤️
I like your videos, I can hear real people speaking, not all these boring cd-s for English learners

mrbooe your welcome I will be so glad to help .
So many different accents in one place. Does this confuse you non-English speakers? Or can you not even notice it??
+Kegan Terry Just wait til next week's episode. It is coming from Namibia Africa.
No. Growing up as a bilingual, I haven't notice the accent of the person I'm having a conversation with.
