This documentary celebrates 175 years of tradition and captures the quintessential spirit of the Erie County Fair: a mix of wistful nostalgia for our agrarian past and an unabashedly commercial thrust toward the future. Every year the fair draws nearly a million visitors to its exhibition halls, animal barns, commercial displays, midway, and entertainment arenas. To some, the county fair is the highlight of the year-for exhibitors it's the culmination of their hard work; a chance to showcase their efforts, and for scores of others it's a summertime tradition where vacations are planned and families gather to experience all the excitement and magic.
