ok on my pc right now. I have bose qc35 sony mx3 and these. Bose and sony for sound cancelling no doubt. Sony kills bose in bass.... But now where I'm stuck. The soundstage and 3d of the sony is just slightly better. The sound cancelling is bar none better. But, the Plantronics. They are so much more powerful in the lower range. I mean it's not even a close match. I'm at a loss on which to send back and which to keep
I am looking for powerful noise canceling headphones that are affordable, the most important thing for me is excellent noise cancellation to drain out crowds, loud music and chewing. Will these headphones provide it, if not, can you recommend other headphones? All I want is affordability and active noise cancellation, I also need the headphones to cancel out noise without music playing as well.
Go with bacobeat pro 2 for sound quality ahhman some skull Candy but if you are a hevy bass guy/woman go with Skullcandy crushers just be careful with skull candy promise me 👍little late
I have these and that turn my head to the right making the sound stop was annoying enough where I had to disable that feature altogether. Other than that, I love these.
Alshream depends on the environment you'll be using them in. In a quiet place, not bad. In a Starbucks or other place with a lot of background noise, meh.
Thanks for the reply. I can confirm; they wont pause when lying down as I bought a pair myself :) A bit small cuffs for my big ears. Other than that, great headphones!
Awesome Review love it, just a quick question Can you disable those sensors through the PLT app?, the reason I am asking sometimes I like to lay the headphones around my neck and have the music on ? the previous PBP wasn't possible to disable them .
hi good video very informative I wanted to ask if any one could tell me how long the guarantee is and if these plantronics backbeat pro 2 are durable as I am thinking about buying a pair
Active and passive noise cancelling are pretty solid for sitting in a Starbucks. If you're looking for absolute isolation, no sound bleed whatsoever, they aren't perfect. In-ear monitors or those QC35 will block more, but I like the sonics of the Backbeats over the Bose headphones. In my opinion, BBs have the better sound, so I'll take that over better isolation since they really do a sound job of noise cancelling.
I have BBP2s and my wife QC25s. Noise cancelling on the QCs are noticeably better on voice, bangs, and sudden noises. On engines (buses, planes, and trains) BBP2s are almost as good as the QCs. However, even voice is 'good enough' for me. On a noisy bus, I need to concentrate and even then, I'm only hearing a murmer -- not individual voices. I can't hear anyone. For me it is good enough that I can fall asleep in a train station or airport.
The downside of it's auto music off is when you don't place it really proper on your head (the music will on and off like an error). But you can fix this by take it off and put it back on your head.
PT is 4.0, so it can reach up to 100' in an open area. However, that would assume you have a good BT 4.0 transmitter. I listen to mine daily on the bus, walking, etc. but my phone is normally in my pocket. BT is fine and the only time it cuts out is some serious interference. I wouldn't use them for jogging (bulk, head movements can pause/play, and noise cancelling really starts becoming a safety issue). If you are on a patio or something... likely 30'+ feet from your phone is rock solid. My computer will get BT4 through two (interior) walls or through sliding glass doors to my deck. BTW. It also supports multi-paring... so you can connect to two devices. It then plays from whichever is playing. I can be listening to my computer and when my phone rings... it switching to the phone.
I was pondering between the these guys, QC 35s, & Sennheisers. Went with these to save a few bucks. Thanks for the review.
You're welcome.

Thank you, sir. Glad you enjoyed the video.
Thanks for the review brotha, you helped me feel better about my purchase.
I just got these as a birthday present, I'm glad that my girl didn't buy me beats or bose. The price and quality of this product is free!!
Tshaka. Love that name.
Hello mate,
Good review!
Do you know by any chance, if mics will work when you using 3.5 mm cable for connection?
Nice review. I love electronic music ...are these loud enough to do the job I want them to do? Thanks

Hey there, need an advice! Plantronics BackBeat Pro 2 or Skullcandy crusher ??? which one is the best? which one combines better sound and bass?
Go with bacobeat pro 2 for sound quality ahhman some skull Candy but if you are a hevy bass guy/woman go with Skullcandy crushers just be careful with skull candy promise me 👍little late
what about comfort, i have had the qc 15's and loved them but for the price are the bb2's just as or very close to as comfortable?
Very comfortable during extended wear. Bose headphones feel lighter though.

Yeah, it's a pretty odd glitch.
Can it be used for voice calls or PC chats?
What are the calls quality with the inbuilt micro? Let's say using Skype and what's app? Thanks

Great review. One question: Does the headphones work while listening when laying down on your back or will it assume you've taken them off?
Esken2 That’s a great question. I never actually laid down with them on, so unfortunately I can’t answer that. =(
Thanks for the reply. I can confirm; they wont pause when lying down as I bought a pair myself :) A bit small cuffs for my big ears. Other than that, great headphones!
Good to know.

Hello, I have these headphones and experience a lag when listening to shows and movies on the iPhone X. Anyway to fix this ?
Would you recommend them over the beats studio 3 headphones ?
What do you think about the special addition of the beat beat pro 2.
Is it worth the up charge?
Na man unless you works somewhere that whould break them but you should be fine little late 😂👍
Senheiser 4.50 btnc vs backbeat pro what to buy?
Pro 2 any day, they are comparable if not better than Sony wh 1000xm3
Awesome Review love it, just a quick question Can you disable those sensors through the PLT app?, the reason I am asking sometimes I like to lay the headphones around my neck and have the music on ?
the previous PBP wasn't possible to disable them .
You can disable it using the Plantronics Hub desktop application www.plantronics.com/us/product/plantronics-hub-desktop
I believe if you hold down the 'mute' button and 'answer call' button for 4 seconds, it disables the sensor and the same thing turns it back on
hi good video very informative I wanted to ask if any one could tell me how long the guarantee is and if these plantronics backbeat pro 2 are durable as I am thinking about buying a pair
Haven't had them long enough to give a solid opinion of their durability.
I just want to connect this thing to my new phone.
how is the noise cancelling? people say is good but is not the best compare to bose qc35 but I just want it, for like starbucks something like that

How to get these to pair with aptx HD on Oreo 8.0?! D:
What app were you referencing? AppX'd?
AptX
Can someone please tell me how well these fold up? (i.e. for travelling)
They don't fold up, you can only twist the earcups and that's about it.
@@Ardiar21 thanks very much!
Hi how do they hold the Bluetooth connection when walking out doors ?
We didn't do much outdoor testing with these, so we really can't speak to that. Sorry.
