Crazy how well the mermonkey has been doing without being stupidly overpowered and properly fitting into the game it's also not as crazy complicated or just as annoying as the beasthandler
I feel like the Mermonkey just needs some price adjustments or a little bit of buffs to its main attack. Maybe 1-2 more pierce and better projectile tracking on 001. Base price needs to go down a little bit for how inconsistent the tower feels overall.
There’s also 1-2 things that the Mermonkey does that aren’t listed in its upgrades, which should probably get added.
@@NeochromeNarratives the mermonkey tier 5s are all busted asf for their price (especially top path, and especially especially bottom path), kinda makes up for the weaker lower tier towers

you should do a 2tc with tentacles and sauda for uhh, reasons,,,
I tried it on resort but there’s not enough damage against the BAD
The mermonkey is getting very ~Freaky~
Now I'm convinced that top path and bottom path mermonkey were intended to be used together.
Cause bloons circling around the top path mermonkey should make use of most, if not all of those tentacles. More so given that 5th tier of both should buff each other. 5th tier top path even can let the bottom path act like it's on water.
I know this isn't a really high bar at all, but Lord of the Abyss genuinely soloes round 98 on easier maps like Resort, if only it could do single target damage, so many more 2TCs would be possible
Couldn't you just get a high single target dps tower and duo them on a map like resort?

Tentacles for damage, slowdown support, and pierce bonuses. Worth it. Just use them to fight the bots like me and we’re all set

I was surprised to find out when playing a boss that the tier 4 top path easily deals with the bloonairius ceramics there is a reason I call the top path the cleaner path

The fact each tentacle attacks separately was obvious to me very quickly just watching a video, I couldn't verify it but that's how it looked. Just me?

I think tentacles are just laggy in general, like I got two to handle 63 and it feels like every tentacle checks every bloon in range to see if it can hit it which ends up with a ton of processing
Mortar and ice RNG with a sprinkle of abyssal warrior in a horrible map with a race that has all regrow?! I’m down for that!
I like to classify each path of a monkey into 3 things: MOAB popper/affecter, Bloon popper/affecter, and double popper/affecter (pops/affects both moabs and bloons effectively)
Ex. Dart Monkey. Top path is great for bloons, middle path is good for moabs and bottom path is good for both
The top path Mermonkey would fall under Bloon popper/affecter imo

Honestly i was more surprised that fully upgraded top path actually acts like a reverse ice monkey middle path.

I noticed this when upgrading my towers. My abyssal warrior was doing more damage for much cheaper than my arctic knight.

Fun fact, another effect of the Mermonkey, specifically it's top path tier 5, once you get it, you can add water towers near it. It's kind of like a free pool. Having boats and subs on land being near it. Don't think it's too much of a difference but it does make for an interesting challenge idea.

Did you know you can use Geraldos' sharpening stone on the tentacles? And on ONLY tentacles. If you try to use it on any other mermonkey upgrade, it won't let you.

Before I let you go further (I am about 30 seconds in) I always thought to was support and small bloom DPS, middle was screen wipe and another thing for the white bloon to resist, and bottom was support.
They still cannot pop lead, even when they’re a lord. A LORD!!
I love playing with tentacles, I'm so glad Bloons finally added them so I can use tentacles with my favorite monkeys.

Though this is not relevant to the video at all, I have never noticed this in the Druid's Heart of Oak. Apparently, the lives you gain after you purchase the upgrade adds pierce to the druid. I dont know if youve noticed this and tested it in a video before.

I wanted to do this race but god the regrow made my phone so hot I had to stop, also crashes galore

I found something with the mermonkey. If you have the bottom path echo right where an abyssal warrior or any top path past tier 3, it just goes CRAZY. It starts popping almost everything
