It`s nice to hear when people from other Countries like this song! Cause I`m from Germany and i know that we didn`t heard for a very loooooooong time such a wonderful Song from us like this one. For me this was Germanys greatest and strongest song - i can`t stop hearing this cause i love the lyrics and the melody to death!

Should've won, one of Eurovisions best songs, way better then bucks fizz here, I like the fizz but they didn't even sound bothered to put on a show at this contest, she actually sung well here and this should've won and did better.
It's a shame. I really liked "Making your Mind Up", but even so I have to admit that it was frothy, while this was much more worthy. As it was, they only lost by 4 or so. I think if they'd sung it in English, that would have just tipped the scales and they might have done it.
The subject matter was a bit lighter to say the least,and the stripping in those days was novel. The German and French songs were both worthy winners,but somehow moved me to tears..

Will everyone stop saying how this is better than Bucks Fizz, because it is not! Both songs have stood the test of time- I heard Bucks Fizz's "Making Your Mind Up" on the radio last week (yes really!), and it still sounds great nearly thirty years on!
Remarkably unsophisticated musically. How this ever reached second place in the contest is beyond me. This would have been a great winner - in about 1958. It may have done so well simply because continental Europe has always lagged behind America and Britain in musical taste - in this case by several decades! Amazing that this was produced in the same year as the "Io Senza Te": this already sounded dated at the time, while the Swiss entry is still fresh today.

I disagree. Johnny Blue is a nice song, but Making Your Mind Up is NOT ridiculous! I'm from the U.K., but I'm not just biased- Bucks Fizz were great!
