I'm a great-great-great grandmother and for sure I'm not up to starting ANYTHING ~ and sometimes that means even the car! I still do organic gardening in washer and dryer tubs but had to give up raising worms. I wish I had a nickel for every piece of furniture I've refurbished over the many years! You, dear one, are NOT too old to start a shop! :)
My sister had that angel in her bedroom over 50 years ago. Brings back memories.

What you could do is put the hardware cloth in the bread box and then put the glass behind it.. You'd have the farmhouse look, while still keeping the purpose and function of the bread box.

Turning interesting items into junk with paint.
I’m 50/50 on some. Distressed white is a trend and as they said it sells all year long. The one I would have left alone except a bit of a refurbishing product like Howards was the brown shelf with cut work wood.

I don't particularly care for cherubs either. I found a cute/ugly cherub frame at Goodwill. Feeling a bit mischievous, I took some Sculpey clay and added horns and tails to the cherubs, then painted the frame black. I hang it up for Halloween or just whenever I feel like it.

Love all your ideas, now I need to watch more of your videos to figure out what “picked” means! Lol Funny thing is, I typed in “ how to access internet on Samsung smart tv and your video was showing up on the right hand column after I clicked on one of the videos. I couldn’t resist watching. Glad I did. I have a ton of things in my garage that need painting and I’ve always wanted to buy a spray painter and a sander and do some distressing. You guys make it look easy!

Sorta like it, could see places to use it ( nursery, bathroom etc. ) but wouldn't buy it, myself. I'm cool with you trying to give it new life tho, save it from the landfill !

I was totally Team Zeb before painting. After painting, I have to admit I'm Team Jami. I honestly think it was the red velvet that made it look so horrifying before. I really love the finished look of SEVERAL of these pieces, y'all pick some really neat stuff. The Rooster though, not so much. LOL. Also, thanks for the idea for fixing the top of a piece I have, can't wait to try the Bondo fix!!
