His sacrifice on the cross paid the price for your redemption with his own blood. On the third day he rose from dead and offers the gift of salvation and forgiveness to those that repent and trust in him. This is the Gospel which means the Good News. Isaiah 45:22-23 KJV Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: [18] I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
The contrast between the 2 interviews is startling. The Goldfinger interview there’s a real spark and energetic vibe about him whereas in the You Only Live Twice interview he’s so done with the character and the franchise.
He had the right darkness like how he dealt with the guy in Dr No who was sent to get rid of him or how he twists a woman's arm and tells her he'll break it. You could believe James Bond would do it. Roger Moore to me is the Adam West Batman of James Bonds, silly, goofy corny, too much humor and too campy and silly.
Yes. ......And last It was only four years before he made his official Bond role in "Diamonds Are Forever (1971)"...... at that time he looked......60-something.
Rest In Peace Dear Sean Connery you were one of my 5 favourite actors and very a inspirational human being. Gorgeous 😍 classy talented who always exhumed manliness...RIP Sir Sean Connery thank you for all the movies you left us...my fav Darby O Gill and the little people...✨✨🙏🏻✨✨
You are one of very few people (maybe even the first I've ever heard of) that mention that film. Seems like "Darby O'Gill and The Little People" have, despite being Disney's first real-life motion picture, have fallen more or less into obscurity. Most people don't seem to know about that film, and yes a young Sean Connery had a very prominent role in that. It was in fact because of that movie that led to the producers wanting him for the role of James Bond. I love that sean connery was from a working class scottish background but trained himself to speak well. Its not false, because he educated himself after some good advice on what to read classically. Its also not disparaging to his background because he spoke up for it and showed that 'class' is a fallacy. Its a judgement against the poor for feeling sorry for themselves (in many cases) and the rich for feeling that they're better.

Well, he had to eat humble pie and do the bad "Diamonds.." never gave credits to his stuntmen, and let people believe he gave away the fee for the mentioned movie. Yet kept the percentages of the grossings, which came to more than pennies. 😊
You have to respect that he was always a straight shooter, but also spoke eloquently with class. He loathed the role, especially Albert Broccoli by '67.
