I've never been to any of these types of conferences, but I doubt I ever will. I have severe social anxiety and I'm sensitive to noise and just have issues. so I'm hoping Jess gets her vlog out about this year's event, so that I can live vicariously 😅
I’m a hybrid planner, such that I use all the tools I like, so on my desk, and actively working with currently are: a Happy Planner, a BuJo, a preprinted planner that has monthly views and daily views with both the timeline of 7am and 8pm in 24 hours times, and the squares for tasks, and a digital calendar that emails me daily for the events of that day about 2 hours before my typical waking alarm. I also have a three (of many other) notebooks to record reading and other notes and do personal writing. Edit, I use all the techniques in the various books and it works great for my brain to keep me occupied and happy and distracted from the problems as needed.
as a rings planner, I have always had a passion to watch bullet journal accounts, I just don't have the time to do actual bullet journaling , I wish I did. I look forward to whatever it is that you teach us because I loooove to learn new things. can't wait!!!

LOVE the podcast! I have never attended Go Wild, but did go to the Chicago Planner Conference last year. It’s “only” about 500 people. As an extraverted introvert, I thought this would be more palatable for me. It was so awesome!! Maybe we’ll see you two there this year….. Have a BLAST at Go Wild! Everyone that goes to this event knows that all sorts of planners and journalers attend and for me ,i love to see other forms of planning and documenting! This is my 3rd time attending and im so excited for the crop night!
Inks are the best part of using fountain pens, of course I am probably bias there... just make sure you choose the better paper for journaling with fountain pens.

It's a weekday thing which sucks for me, but I have to make it work because I think Helen of Coffeemonsterzco is going to be there.
My recommendation would be a platinum preppy or a twsbi eco. But my absolute favorite pen in my collection is also my most expensive, the Esterbrook Estie with a Journaler nib
Go Wild sounds awesome! Here in the Netherlands we don't really have a planner convention or anything like that, but we do have several tradeshows for all creative hobbies together. There is always a sizeable section for journaling with workshops and a lot of notebooks, stickers, stamps, inks, pens and so on.
My first self-booking international experiance turned into planning for an entire sports team representing NZ in Europe. So flights for the team and support crew, extra bags, accomodation, layovers...everything. It was incredibly stressful, but was all ok in the end. Not surprisingly, this was my first time venturing into using an actual planning journal, although I didn't realise it at the time. I look back at that notebook, with it's tabbed sections of locations, flights, people, accomodation dates and addresses, even recommendations for restaurants.
I wish I had found out about Go Wild before. When I did discover it, it was too late to get a ticket to the Washington DC one. I could have drove down which would have been great for my first time. No flights or excess luggage to worry about. Alas, I missed it 😢
I'm so excited for go wild and the jcc meet up! I'm curious about how many people attend, like 1 or 2 thousand? Is it that huge? Also I have a service dog and need to find out some tips for having him in the crazy environment.

Hello from Canada ! Those chocolates are called Coffee Crisps. They are supposed to taste like coffee, but mostly it’s layered vanilla wafer. Oh and fun fact about the « Canadian Bacon ». Brands will sometimes announce ahead of time if they're sponsoring any tables at GO Wild, but in terms of knowing where they are in the conference room, it's really just about looking around. A lot of tables will have some type of centre piece that says who supplied the goods 😊 - Jess

What happened to PlannerCon in San Francisco? My friend went. Planner cons in Hawai'i are very small, mostly local. I go to a planner meet every month hosted by my friend, MizMatchedStar. She brings awesome food! I'd be interested if anyone can Bujo in a preprinted planner. I use a Hobonichi Cousin.

If you have time, you could wrap up the washi tape around your face picture cards. As Jess says that.
