So much of innocence despite belonging to a great lineage. Really unimaginable to be so realistic, simple, straight forward & fun loving. God Bless both of you.
Thank you so much mam. Having heard the trio violin on stage along with Shri Palghat Mani Iyer on Mridangam we as children and proud to see the legacy is being carried by the Grand and Great grand children hats off to the bringing up. My heart felt Pranams to Dr's family for sowing a Kalpataru. Thank you so much once again Mam for this session. Namaskaram to you.
what an episode ! hats off to Ambi and Bindu for such refreshing ideas and how much they have accomplished at such a young age . Kudos to Sudhaji for such good questions .
A very interesting interview with such a great legacy. Best wishes to Ambi and Bindhu for their great ideas in reaching out to people who don't come from musical family. Thanks Sudhaji for your wonderful questions.
I had heard their " something just like this " Indian mix and wondered wow how talented this girl is and the violin just blew my mind. I was in awe of the violinist. And I promptly forgot about them🙂 never realised they hail from such a musical genius family. It's no wonder that they are super gifted born to a musical guru of a Dad and a super gifted Mom. These are absolutely gifted musicians. The "thayir saadham" name is indeed brilliant, every one who mocks thayir saadham or the casteist undertones to it are ultimately jealous of people who turn to thayir saadham as their comfort food... These critics are in turn secret admirers of thayir saadham. So well done with the name. I was surprised to see how brilliant Sudha Raghunathan is as a host. Very eloquent and endearing. Her overall beauty and persona with flowers vibhoothi and kumkumam is always a visual treat. I would have expected Bindu had sported a bindi at the least. They say "neerilla netri paazh" for Bindu to have such spotless upbringing and to see her பாழ் நெற்றி was jarring. Again it's a personal choice and I guess she doesn't give much importance to appearances. But for that sore note it was a great interview. Best wishes to the musically loaded family
Good Evening Carnatic Musical Vocal exponent Vidhushi Padmasri Sudha ji, Jai Sri Ram Thank you so much of your beautifully sharing the excellent viva with Carnatic Musical Violin exponent Vidhwan Ambi Subramanyam Maha Periyavaalin Thiruvadigale Charanam Hara Hara Sankara Jaya Jaya Sankara!
I heard Sri Ambi's grand father father & Sri ambi's music concerts so many times .All super.I am 80 years old.God bless Sri L.S 's family T.v.kuppuswamy Sharma
The statement that ' input is your responsibility, but the output is beyond you' by Bindu, and ones own experience is superior to doing things well are two different things ,by Ambi are two most mature outputs of this interview.
I am glad Ambi only played Abhogi , as instructed by Sri. LS. In the mood Ambi was that day i would have mixed up both Abhogi and Mohana and made a big mess. Fun filled conversation.
Too much time in introduction. Plus, I suggest you get a teleprompter app so it does not become so obvious that you're reading off from written text! Please do the introduction via conversation with your guests instead!!
Good interview. But why don't these artistes speak Tamil so that it can reach to more viewers and make more interesting. Ignoring our regional language/mother tongue Tamil and using English most of the time is really sad. If not completely Tamil atleast it can be a mix of both these languages!!
Why? I dont understand Tamil well. Carnatic music belongs to all of south India, Malayalus, Kannadigas and Telugu speaking people need to understand. Also worldwide audience need to understand . Music transcends language. Maybe tamilisai or Odhuvar interviews need to be in Tamil. Not Carnatic as it belongs to entire south India and the wider world.
