Listen, I will tell you this, so you don´t feel bad. I´m 47 and a kpop group got me. I thought that I was having a middle-age crisis hahahaha but the truth is that I feel their lyrics are so meaningful and relatable. I like their playful personalities, their mature thoughts, their loving hearts, their commitment, their friendship, everything about them. If I feel sad I just have to look at Seungmin or I.N. or Felix's smiles. If I want comfort, I just have to listen to Chan. If I´m feeling down I just have to laugh with Han or Changbin or Lee Know or Hyunjin. Somehow they make me feel loved and appreciated and the best part... I´m not the only one!!

han has a solo song called “wish you back” that he wrote after watching Your Name!! I’m sure you’d like it! also I recommend two of their sad lyrics songs that the majority agrees to go hand in hand, “secret secret” and “silent cry” (in that order). both are some of my fav songs from them :D

Fwiw, the First Take version of "Scars" has subs and is a beautiful showcase for their pure, live vocals (all three First Take songs are definitely worth watching and show off SKZ's live skills). And the "Voices" Special Video, an updated ot8 performance version, is even better and more gorgeous than this original nine-member version; the full Voices choreo is a perfect complement to the lyrics (which is a common trait with SKZ's choreo) and is emotionally moving even on its own.
Scars is so awesome. I Love to see the dance that they do for this song. But also Love the First Take Performance where they sing it live. A must watch 💜
The two sentences at end of their videos are something like their moto. Like whenever you feel lonely or like you can't find your place in this world, you can come to them anytime and they will there for you.
the #1 thing I love about Stray Kids are their lyrics, and Voices specifically has always been a song close to my heart because of just that. They've got plenty of songs that gets me right in the gut, plenty of songs I can relate to and be all emo about, but voices? Another level. Lonely St. is the first song in a while that has had the same effect on me as Voices tbh
on another note, when she started talking about going at your own pace and that it's okay if it takes you longer than others I immidiatly jumped to check if she has reacted to My Pace lmao

You should watch Scars THE FIRST TAKE and Slump THE FIRST TAKE. They are my favorite versions of those two songs! Make sure you have the subtitles on though because although there are built-in subs at first, they don't auto translate the song lyrics. You have to put the cc on for the song lyrics. Also, I just recently became a fan of yours! ^^

I honestly find their “One Take” performances soooo much better, idk 🤷🏼♀️ why but I guess because it’s a live performance rather than a studio version. I just love live takes of songs.

Many Stay believe Lonely St. reflects their PERSONAL FEARS based on what we know and what they told us in the past. Chan is afraid of taking a break and not being able to keep running (he is working constantly and it's breaking him) Han is alone where lights shine on him when he has social anxiety and is scared of being in front of people alone. Changbin is scared of not doing any progress and not moving forward, thus him running the stairs in circles. Lee Know is scared of heights especially when it's dark, thus him being on watchtower alone in night. I.N is probably scared of being upfront and looking at things directly so his eyes are covered (not sure about this fully, I don't really remember I.N talking about his fears except for not being good enough) Felix is afraid of not being good enough, doubting himself and afraid of not being able to connect with others, thus facing his reflection alone Hyunjin is afraid of being left alone by everyone else, so he is closed in a freezing box not being able to see outside. Seungmin is scared of losing what he has now and scared of losing skz and chance to sing, so his hand is bleeding in bandages and he is in a pit around stadium. Another reason why this song is so heartbreaking 😭 In the end Chan stands back up, Han accepts the light into his palms, Felix shoots his shadow full of personal doubts, I.N takes off the blindfold... And Minho who is afraid of heights goes to the edge and starts balancing on it, proving his courage. And even after he falls... He realises he is with everyone else and is okay now.
also about the finding your people comment yes never let them go. for a long time I thought that I had found my people in high school but it was my university friends that made me realise what it felt like to have 'my people' next to me. the energy is just so different and you really do feel it. that resonates to me on a whole different level tbh.

I'm 30 now, but I was probably your age when I stopped caring what other people think and learned to love things about myself like my freckles which cover my arms, shoulders, chest, and face.. Pretty much anywhere visible lol. As a kid it can be hard because kids are mean, but as I grew, more people would tell me they actually liked my freckles; including my partner of 10 years 😊. Seeing an idol with them is super cool and I'm glad it is helping you gain confidence. I think they are super cute on both of you! Embrace what makes you different ✨️

I'd recommend the entire NO EASY album. The whole album is so good. And also their Cle: Levanter album is one of my favorites from them.
Also some specific songs that are really good are Mixtape: OH, Ex, and Any. Mixtape: OH literally has such a strong chokehold on me, this song is so so good. Oh, also Awkward Silence. The MV for Awkward Silence is really cute, Chan accidentally hit the camera lol. Get Cool and N/S are great. The MV for N/S is one of their self produced music videos, so it's a really fun/funny video. I think you'd like Wow too. It's a unit song, the members that sing it are Felix, Hyunjin, and Lee Know (the dance team). It doesn't have an official MV, but there's probably some good fan made music videos. Also, Nayeon from the group Twice recently made a solo debut, and one of her songs features Felix. The song is called No Problem.
