Mavs in bus crash contenders tier is on point. Luka always has a chance to dominate some playoff games, and hes having his best season ever. Hope they surprise the league and ball out.
I just think it’s the same story with the mavs as the pacers, suns, and bucks… all offense, no half court or point of attack defense. Any of the stars on those teams can turn into a demon and maybe carry them through a series or two in a rare circumstance but personally I just don’t see it with the level of two way talent they’re up against in todays nba

You mention the Twolves rest advantage but the Celtics have one more game with rest advantage and the Wolves are currently in the middle of 16 straight games against teams .500 or better with 11 on the road. They are so far 7-3 with 6 of those on the road. That is not an easy schedule at all.
Personally I believe you are underrating the Bucks quite a lot. They had some early season struggles, especially with integrating Lillard and building chemistry between him and Giannis in the P&R, so they started off a bit shaky. Additionally Middleton is just now starting to get his groove back after returning from injury. I believe they'll only get better from here on out. I also believe that their defense could shift into another gear come playoff time. On paper they got a really got roster defensively, with solid wings and still the same hard to beat twin towers protecting the rim in Giannis and Lopez. To me they are the only team in the East with a realistic shot at beating the Celtics come playoffs (barring injuries). Yes, I know the 76ers exist, but I don't believe in Embiid until he actually shows up.

The Thunder are young even for a breakout team , their talent will get them through the first round , after that they will be in unchartered territory .

You can also bump down the sixers to crash contenders cause Embiid is a notorious choker in the playoffs. If he's playing at his best they're easily true contenders but we have a good sample size that says Embiid is most likely gonna not play at his best and the rest of the team by themselves aren't enough to be true contenders. Imo being highly dependant on whether Embiid bucks the trend of choking in the playoffs is quintessential crash contender.

Nuggets are great when firing on all cylinders are gonna grind most teams into the ground but I don't see that series as just a walk through for them.. I'd say that series would probably go to game 6 at least unless there's some catastrophic injuries on the Thunder squad.. would be a great Western Conference Matchup if you ask me.. would be some good games..
