I'd never heard of FND until I was diagnosed with it last year in November. I had a fall and broke both my wrists in Oct 2022 after recovering from that incident I would freeze while walking now I have gait issues on my left leg along with other symptoms. Soon I will be attending an FND clinic in Sydney Australia in the hope of recovering and coping better in life. I have faith in my Lord and Saviour and He gives me the strength day by day. Love to all my FND friends out there.

I was the same, never even heard of it and now it is with me 24/7 lol! I am so thankful for the strength that the Lord has given me and continues to renew every sing day. I pray that you are able to get some good support during your visit. My team at Cleveland Clinic here in the US has helped me with finding management strategies that help get through my days better.

2 & 1/2 years, still waiting for diagnosis. It is most likely FND. I have shared experiences of being basically booted out of appointments and ERs having been told it's stress, anxiety, and emotions. One Dr told me to get used to my new normal. FND sufferers have every good reason to feel jaded about the medical community

100% agree! It breaks my heart that you are experiencing this first hand as well. Your life gets turned upside down and the ones that are there to help treat you horribly. I was blessed to get with my team of doctors at Cleveland Clinic. I remember walking out from the first appointment almost in tears....HAPPY tears....because for the first time I felt heard. I will be praying for you Holly and that you are able to get with the right providers ❤

It really is such a huge hurdle for everyone dealing with this. I am holding out hope though 😊 I've noticed a growth pattern over the past 5 years that I hope to continue to see grow more and more! Some of the different providers I met with were compassionate, but others were down right rude and that is just uncalled for.
