nice vid
Thanks!
You can fix this 3:07
Make the very short video like 5 sec or less and then increase video speed in Premier Pro!!!
I tested it and it worked!!!
I'm using Google Earth browser to make a zoom-video from space. The destination is an old church, in a small village in rural Denmark, so I'm quite sure there's no 3D model of the church. Not in regular browser Google Earth anyways.
I've also downloaded the app version - Google Earth Pro. Lastly there's Google Earth Studio which I can't get access to.
My question to all of you is whether Google Earth Pro or Google Earth Studio can make a better zoom-from-outer-space video, than the regular Google Earth browser version can?
Brilliant tutorial... just what I needed to my upcoming travel vids, just subscribed!
Thanks for the sub!
I've got something I'm going to try right now. Thank you!
You're welcome! Thanks for watching.
i tried the zoom effect last week for my project and it was a disaster, i'm glad to see your tutorial, i now know how to do it better, thank you. i'm subscribing!
Awesome! Very happy to hear it worked out for you. 😎
Thank you, man! This is a very great content
wonderful video, I was looking for this for a very long. thanks for making it.

it's really beautiful, working with google earth.
Thanks a lot man!!!
Thanks for sharing! It helps me alot!
Glad to hear that! I love the concept of your channel. I lived in London for 6 months, and I absolutely love all of the public transport options there.
thank you great video
I was using it today! :) Great intro video
Thanks! What were you doing with GES?

Supe useful, thanks for sharing!

Great stuff. Thank you. I’d appreciate anything you can advise on camera tracker in AE.
is there a way to set 3D markers that AE reads better?
Thanks for watching! Not that I know of. What you see is what you get. You can try switching the export settings between global and local.
Thank you!
You bet!
Thanks. Very helpful.
You're welcome! Thanks for watching.
Great Tutorial - Thank you very much
Glad it was helpful!
Awesome!
Thank you! Cheers!
This is really fantastic and so easy to use! Thanks for the starter video! What a heap of 3d data google might use here to cover the whole world in this resolution quality? Only the textures might take tons of TB or PB i guess! I am looking for a way to animate a whole tour with multiple points on a track / path with costomizable viewing angle, field of view, shift, tilt and so on without these breaks at the single points. You can use the tour feature in GE pro and set the pause at the locations to zero but it still slows down the animation and changes the flight tracks on each tour part so it wont come out really smooth. I guess you need a kind of spline technique with adjustable even points inbetween. Any ideas how to achieve this?
I would use the GEOlayers plugin for something like that.
Thanks for the great video. One thing I can't seem to find is a way to get the camera pan to follow the path?
Wonderful you are!
Thanks!
Thank You so much
You're most welcome!
this video was uploaded on my birthday damn
This looks amazing!! have you done a tutorial for just doing a travel map...ie...London to Kathmandu, for BEGINNERS, real BEGINNERS?
This helped me alot! can you edit it in movies? and if so, then how?
Thank you😎
You're welcome.
Very useful,, thank you
You are welcome
Is there a way to link multiple animations seamlessly? So fly to location, orbit, fly to 2nd location orbit.... and so on?
Thanks for the great series! It's helped me so much with my project. 😍 One thing I couldn't figure out is if I can combine a bunch of quick starts into one animation here, without rendering and combining in AE?
I've tried to manually add a spiral after a zoom from point to point but failed miserably. 😩Any tips?
Hi, it's so weird - I got your reply but it doesn't come up in this thread 😟 In response - I haven't worked out how to do this in the animator yet. And matching up co-ords is a mission! I think I just have to practice my flying skills some more. 🛸
That indeed sounds very difficult. Not sure I would know where to start with that. Sorry!
Hi there. Quick question… On the point to point option, is there a way to make the map not rotate? Thank you
To do a reverse flight path, reverse the video in DaVinci res, or any editing program
Very good video👍
Thank you 👍
amazing vieo!! is there any way to keep the location icon on the map as it zooms in
Nice! Applied for this stuff! Meow!
Meow indeed.
Thank you for sharing and I would like to see more vids about Earth Studio amd and After Effects. Greetings from Costa Rica. 🌴☕📸🌋👍🏻☀️

@@ProfSimonHolland Whoa! Cool channel you got there. :) You're in SW France?
@@BooneLovesVideo yes in the Dordogne valley....having animated maps really helps....managed to use a google studio zoom in, for the first time, in a youtube film....just what i have been looking for ...great stuff... where are you based?
@@ProfSimonHolland Very cool! I'm in Pays de la Loire. I have a house in central Le Mans.
Thank you so much for this video! Is there any way to include routes when you go from point to point? For example, if you want to go from point A to B to C and have a route line drawn onto the map route as the camera goes from point to point, would this be possible! Thanks so much!
It's really difficult to create routes in Google Earth Studio. You might want to get GEOlayers 3 for that.
That was exactly my question. I would like to put in two points, let's say, Burbank, CA to Manhattan Beach, CA, and then have the camera track a red line that follows the route that I put in, let's say, Interstate 5 to CA SR 110 to Interstate 105, to Vista Del Mar... etc. As the route, let's say a red line, gets drawn, the camera will default follow the route in 3D with a certain tilt and elevation, etc, that I can then manipulate after it does its initial default run through. It seems that Google has all of this information, so it wouldn't be too difficult for them to set up.
Hi, thanks for the video, im a bit late I know 😅 is there any way to export like a video straight away?
Thanks for this tutorial. Do you have a tutorial on how to animate a route on Google Maps? Say a route from town A to town B.
You just saved my RUclips channel thaaaaankyouu
Glad to hear! Thanks for the kind words.
nice tutor
Thanks for watching.
how about installing Earth studio as an App ? now they allow this operation. It allows rendering in the background. cool tutorial. Big thanks !
Is it possible to change the season from winter to summer in Google Earth Studio? The area that I want to choose is winter and covered in snow. I want it to look like summer.
in your vid, you used PR instead of AE. your vid on Arc de Triomphe using AE is awesome. can that be done with PR as well? thanks and great job btw!
Unfortunately it can't be done in Premiere. All of that tracking information is made specifically for After Effects. But then you can dynamic link and do all kinds of cool stuff with Premiere later.
hy do you know if you can make a video of a route? I ran a marathon id like to import my run and make a map animation :)
Can this google earth studio can be copyrighted if i put it to my travel youtube vlog?

Hello, is there anyway you know how to split screen showing video of a road from km 0 - km 10 for example and then the other half of the screen in the map where cursor is moving in the map relative to the video on the left..Left video for showing you travelling from first point (km 0) to end point (km 10)..Hope you can help me..Thank You!
Im gonna use it in a short film leave the watermark and give google much credit i used google docs google earth i use google for everything! Love you google 🙂
How do you add a place marker? (KML/KMZ thing is like insanely hard to understand - it makes no sense)
Can Studio be used with overlays?
Hey, Many thanks for the video, I hope you can help me out in adding a flight path to my project from one place to other, clearly showing the moving airplane in it.
Cheers

Can I use Google Earth Studio for monetized RUclips videos? If not tell me some alternative
Here is a test I did with Google earth studio, Google earth pro, and After Effects.

Wow nice job! You create those polygons with Google My Maps?
@@BooneLovesVideo I created the polygon with Google earth pro added altitude and check the box "extended sides to ground". Sometimes I use My Maps to start. I import the KMZ into Google Earth Pro where you can add altitude then import Google Earth Studio
I am looking for a way to make an animated travel route but not like flying from one point to another but by using streets (I am a motovlogger). Is that also possible?
Yes, but it’s quite hard with GES. You can create/add the paths manually via Google My Maps, and then import them into GES. That’s probably your best option. But it’s difficult to animate the path once it’s on there.
Good video...I followed your tutorials, but I always have the track points drifting when loaded to Affect Effect. I tried some different way, like different project, global location vs local location, but I can ping the track point to the ground like you did. As the camera moves, the text moves away! Any guess? Thanks
Check the altitude of your track point. I imagine if you bring it closer to the earth's surface, it won't drift as much. Just a thought, I haven't actually tested this yet. But let me know if that works!
how can we show boundaries of country and states on map?
You can now render to mp4.
Another awesome tutorial mate! Do you know if its possible to use googles map data in geolayers?
Alternatively fo you know how to move the Bing attribution in geolayers?
Yes it is! GEOlayers can handle all kinds of geospatial data, including KML and geojson. Check out this tutorial-

Sir can i use Google earth video in our yt video
Great video from a newbie here! I'd love to know if there's a "newbie" easier way to export one of the point to point video files into a PowerPoint presentation. I watched some other tutorials and got lost. Thanks!!!
Hey Angela, thanks for the kind words. Regarding your question, I'm not entirely sure as I've never done this. Let me take a look.
@@BooneLovesVideo thanks a million for your speedy reply and research!
@@BooneLovesVideo any update on this? would also love to know how I can use this for a powerpoint presentation, I don't have after effects. thanks!
Can I use it without getting copyright strike
Love your videos! I have a question, what is the best, free way to turn the image stills from Google Earth Studio into a video? I've tried Premiere Elements 15 and Movie Maker and the result is either choppy or grainy. Help!
Hey Kate! It should work inside of Premiere Elements, but not entirely sure how. Inside of Premiere Pro, when you import you have to specify that it's an image sequence. Then you can right click and manually change the frame rate. When you click on Render in Earth Studio, can you see the Video option?
@@BooneLovesVideo is there a video render option in Earth Studio? That would be amazing! I do not see it on my end...
@@BooneLovesVideo I was able to get it in Elements thanks to your tip!
@@TheKspringer Yeah, I think it's still in beta and they haven't done a full release. Click on the red Render button and take a look. Mine is to the right of the Image Sequence checkbox. Or you can look in the Animation dropdown menu and see if you have Cloud Renders in there.
@@TheKspringer Oh nice!
I wonder if this has been used for NOVA episodes...that zoom-in animation in the Quick Start panel looks familiar.
Yeah it's used quite often from what I've seen.
What if you want to zoom on somewhere in the middle of nowhere with no name to enter?
Has anybody used this with Adobe Elements 20?
Am I allowed to use this for commercial use? :) And thanks for the tutorial!! 🙂

I was wondering if I could ask a question here. I would like to display data from the Fall. I notice if I supply a date from the Fall, and I then zoom in, I am still seeing very green foilage. I am using Baltimore, MD as my location. Can you please explain what could be going on here? Thanks!
Hmm, interesting that they allow you to select a date so far in the past. Not sure what's going on there. Maybe it's location specific. Seems like they'd have coverage for Baltimore, so maybe that feature just doesn't exist yet.
Whenever I render it, the quality never looks as good as it is in the preview. I have the settings on high when I render it
Yeah, same here unfortunately.

🖐😀HI, I registered Google Earth Studio, got an email to wait. When will entry be allowed? thanks for the reply Éva 😀
Is it possible to render a quick start project out at 60fps?
Not entirely sure, as I've never tried that.
After you rendered your MAP Animation, your files were rendered in JPG. I can only get mine to render in esp. which can't be read by any of my programs. Can you tell me what is happening? Thanks
ESP is the Earth Studio project file. The JPGs will be located in a subfolder.
awesome tutorial. i am using movavi video editor plus and footage doesn't plays smoothly. Any idea?
Maybe the frame rates are different? Sorry I have no experience with that app.
@@BooneLovesVideo no worry, i figured out. Thanks.
I can use this in one of my projects and yes it's commercial so if I use it I have to face the copyright issue?
I'm not sure.
one question: how to keep location names after render ?Regards
Hmm, not sure.
I thought google sent a .MOV file ... just received 451 images from google earth and don't know how to make a video out of them...I don't have premier pro
