Top tip: don’t try to close the screen while the backplate is removed. I damaged the right hinge of the screen. This model is clearly not designed to easily upgrade the disk or the memory.

dunno if it's too late but i THINK 9:17 is the doodad you want checking. in the service manual it's listed as (7)-power connector cable. part #931613-001. i could be mistaken though. hopefully it just needs resoldering or supergluing down

Attention: NEVER open or close the screen while the backplate is removed, the screws that hold the backplate also hold a lot of the components in place, and the hinges WILL SNAP the other screws keeping them in.
Also, because those screws hold everything together, flipping the pc will make components fall out, so screw the cover back on, even if all you have to do is testing if everything works.
Don't make my same mistakes, and have fun

So my laptop is HP 15-bs115dx and I know I can replace the ram. What I was wondering is can I replace both ram sticks? I heard some laptops the ram are soldered on. I really like to put in two 16gb ram sticks. And if not, can I replace it with two new 8gb ram sticks? Cause I like to get faster timings and mhz ram sticks. Thanks for the video!

There is 2 slots, but verify that they have the correct specs before buying.

I would like to see how synaptic touchpad trackpad clickpad is removed. Also how CPU is removed

We haven't had to many cases where we remove touchpad pars from the palmrest, but as soon as we get one we will definitely post the video on how to do it!
The CPU alone for this model can be only removed with the MOBO soldiering machine, which most of laptop owners dont have. We recommend to remove it with the MOBO.

thank you for video - great job! hp is a joke though. we have been a hp shop since 2008 and with each passing year it seems they make it more and more difficult to repair/upgrade.
