    Good afternoon. I currently have such a computer in use, but I want to upgrade it in the future. I plan to put a discrete video card in it since the built-in one is not enough for video games. I want to ask, is it possible to connect a GTX 1050 to his motherboard? Because that's what I'm looking at. And a couple more questions. I currently have a 180W power supply in this computer, will it handle it or will I need to install a more powerful one? And how many watts do you need for this video card? And another question about the case. Will the GTX 1050 even fit in this frame? Or will it be necessary to rebuild the computer into a more spacious one?

    Hi, how big is the power supply? Can it be used with a normal i7 4770? Thanks!!!

    • @KnightSparhawk
      @KnightSparhawk Год назад

      Its either going to be 180w or 240w. It won't support the normal one, it will support the 4770s and even the 4790s. But only if you have the 240w PSU.

      HI, as @KnightSparhawk said, this PSU is a 180w, so isn't exactly powerful. However I have had no issues with the upgrades I installed.

    can i install rtx 1660S 6GB into it , is it suitable ?

    • @CaptainJRW
      @CaptainJRW  Год назад

      Hi, I assume you mean the GTX 1660S. And no, this card will not fit due to it being the wrong form factor and needing an external power source. With this machine you need to stick with low profile cards that don't need external power👍

      I believe a GT 1030 should work fine, however with a 1050 it depends wether the PSU will cope with it.

    Will an i7 4790k work in this?

    • @CaptainJRW
      @CaptainJRW  11 месяцев назад +1

      Hi there, The i7 4790k is a LGA 1150 socket whereas this pc is a 1155 socket. So no, this CPU isn't compatible.
