I just took this out in the water for the first time. The one thing that I need to work on is that the skegs are both flexed to one side. I know there's recommendations about blow drying it to straighten, but it would be helpful if someone left a video to show it. These things are pretty strong.
Great review. Good tips. Wish you could have shown how you get in the thing. I'm old and I know I'm getting wet. Twice probably. Thanks for the review.
this is the best video I have found on the sea eagle. thank you so much I feel more confident in making my purchase!!!! you two are so cute, If you ever paddle in CA, you have a friend here...!!!
Great video! I have the 370 Pro as well, use a 12-volt pump to do the initial inflate and finish off with the foot pedal, and always wear a life jacket as well! I even have the same Joto waterproof pouch for the phone! As you did, I wanted to have something I could store in the van or RV so my wife and I could have a boat if we wanted to get out on the water when we camp out.
Thanks. I think you have the right seat positions for two people. You can put the seat anywhere and one person would have one seat about halfway between the positions you chose. In fact seat positions should reflect the sizes of two people as well. They have no one required position. Place them and enjoy.👍
Thanks for posting this! Really awesome to see you set it up and explain the seat positions. If we were to have two adults and one 45 lb dog with us, would you recommend more space between the seats and having the dog in the middle?
Good tip about the O-rings - snapped one trying to get on; stiff plastic. Awful. Instructions say to warm up. But think I will just leave off and order extra valves. Only did a test inflate on grass so far - Sea Eagle 330 pro seat - plan to use solo. Hey Sea Eagle those retaining rings are TERRIBLE what were u thinking? But boat feels solid so far! The 330 could hold 2 people if u had to, I guess. Or a person and a dog lol.

Can you provide an update about how the 370 is holding up? Have you had to make any patches? (It's July 2021) Also, have you tipped over and how difficult is it to get back into the kayak out in the water? Any tips on that?
Hi Shari, the kayak is holding up very well. We haven’t had any holes or need for repairs or patches. We’ve never tipped over, although it is probably a little easier in an inflatable than with a hard shell kayak. No idea on how difficult it would be to get back in from the water but I’d use the paddle to help across the width of the kayak to help spread the load when trying to re-enter. Unfortunately (or fortunately) I don’t have much to report. We have had zero issues 😁
I have had my 370 Pro for 7 years. I had taken it out over 40 times. I did get a pin hole when I scraped it on a screen door the second time I used it. It was folded up and out of the bag and about 50°, so the material was stiff. Easy to repair!
No issues whatsoever, no tears or punctures. We use Windex to clean it before storage to get off water stains/dirt so it still looks great as well! It has worked well for us!

@@WanderOpenRoads Awesome! Thank you for the details.
Was this filmed at Falls Lake, NC?
No, this was filmed on Lake Allatoona just outside of Atlanta
have you tried the kayak on river rapids?
Billy Mallari We haven’t yet but it is supposed to be able to handle rapids. As soon as we do, we’ll post a video :)
How long have you had this kayak? Any leaks at this point?
We’ve had the kayak for 2 1/2 years and no leaks or tears. Still loving it 😀
