Ah... leftover bacon? I never thought I'd see leftover bacon. I thought that was a myth. There is NEVER any leftover bacon at my house.
We have to hold ourselves back so hard when we need bacon later (for like baked potatoes) but we made if for breakfast. Usually it’s only a couple pieces and they are fine by the end of the day 😂 I could never leave a single bacon behind 😢😂

So Aldi has these seasonal cookies rn. They're maple sandwich cookies. Omg sooooo good! The cream inside is a little lighter, but it like a double stuffed golden maple oreo 🍁🤍🍁

My favorite prepackaged cookie is Walker's Scottish shortbread. It's just butter, flour, sugar and a little salt. YUM!

My all time favorite packaged cookies are the ginger snaps or vanilla wafers, they're pretty tied in my book!
I ended up voting at about 6:00 o'clock yesterday evening. The polls closed at 7:00 and that was the last day of early voting. Talk about getting in under the wire. The line was snaked in a circle around the inside of the library and it also extended out the door and down the sidewalk all the way to the street. I am 73 years old and it is extremely difficult for me to walk but I went creeping up using my walker and got in line. To my surprise a worker came and escorted me inside the building to a chair where I could sit down. I thought she was going to just let me sit there and wait until the person who had been in front of me voted and then she would come back and get me because there were a LOT of people in front of me and I expected that I would have quite a wait. I had my Kindle with me and I was very willing to sit in that chair and wait 30 minutes or an hour or however long it took for the line the catch up with me and as long as I'm reading I'm happy anyway. But she motioned me to be the next person to vote. I was apologizing to everyone as I walked past them but they were all very kind. I felt bad that she was allowing me to cut the line. So to the ladies who were working the early voting on Thursday, October 29, at the Madison Library in Nashville, thank you SO much. I had no thought that I would be given that sort of treatment but I want you to know how much I appreciate it and to all the people that I was allowed to cut in front of, I am so sorry but I appreciate your kindness as well. Because they expedited my voting so much I was actually back home before 7 o'clock when the polls closed.

You are such a together mom. Inspirational. I am an older mom , 56, with two teenage daughters. I am overweight and work full time. What suggestions do you have to getting starting/motivation to get fit? I actually used to be an athlete in high school and would like to get some of that strength and fitness back.

For store cookies it is has to be Mothers Cookies Original Frosted Circus Animal cookies. That pink bag is like a magnet. It’s the cookie you never out grow. You really should give them a try.
I’ve never been much of a store bought cookie-eater but as I’ve gotten older(I’m 63) I love them. Chips Aho -and even the store brand Vanilla Creme-filled Sandwich cookies. But I gotta have a glass of milk w them, sometimes Nestles sugar-free chocolate milk. Delicious!

I love your way of thinking of food and exercise. It's taken me some time to get there, but I tend to feel the same way as you. Control portions, eat food with nutrition but don't stress about some bread or a cookie. I am a new fan of zuchinni. I love it in stir fry, zucchini patties, zoodles, etc. I would love the zucchini relish recipe if you didn't already link it. I found a red pepper relish that I LOVE on my hamburgers or hot dogs. I was super picky as a kid but love so many foods now that it makes eating more enjoyable.
I am glad you don't stress over what you are eating. You take care of yourself and have a very healthy attitude towards food.

At home my favorite cookie is probably double stuf oreos but at work it's definitely complete cookies because I'm on my feet all day and the high calorie count keeps me full longer than other snacks.

Entenmann's chocolate chip cookies but realistically I'm being cheap so oven Baked Fudge Striped Shortbread Cookies from the Dollar Tree. Don't eat cookies too often.
Fudge Covered Mint Oreos they are new but oh my good gracious! Incredible! Like girl guide mint cookies for half the cost. For a more classic cookie I love a good chocolate chunk cookie dipped in milk.
Macadamia nut cookie is my ultimate favourite. What I got for free, 2 pales, one grapefruit one apple, 3 bananas, 1 coffee medium, 4 onions and 2 avocados.💟🇨🇦💖🇨🇦

Double stuffed oreos are my favorite purchased cookie. Much prefer the homemade cookies but can't do anything like the oreo homemade. Currently have the Aldi version in the pantry.
Right now Target has some pumpkin cream sandwich cookies that are seasonal and pretty darn good. Hope to get a few packs on clearance after Halloween.
If you want a cheap energy pack i get mine from walmart, the flavors are outstanding its like 1.28 for a 10 pack but each pack is 120mg of caffeine so you can't go wrong! I take them with me everywhere!

Im a huge list-maker too to manage my anxiety. But I do have to say that anytime I take caffeine my anxiety is so much worse. Just something to think about if you’re having a bad anxiety day.
