I swear that I can picture you moving your mouse with your pinkie finger slightly elevated, and asking someone close by if they have any Gray Poupon. I enjoy that. Keep having fun. I enjoy your keen interest in the "mayorship" role in the game as well! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Must admit I have to google Gray Poupon... Glad that image in your head gave you joy and thank you for the comment and watching the series. Hope to see you around these parts again soon!
The Beard Plays I'm completely hooked now, so my treat for the day is to watch you manage this wonderful new city-in-the-making. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Oh! And the Gray Poupon reference comes from a series of commercials in America selling the posh mustard brand. It featured two gentlemen, both being chauffeured in their own luxury vehicles by different drivers, enjoying the drive by eating lunch in the back seats, and on some serious pieces of china, mind you. Most lavish. Anyhoooo....they just so happened to come to a stop side by side, and one of the gentlemen asked the other gentlemen through their open windows, "Excuse me, sir....but would you happen to have any Gray Poupon?" And being the equally well off diner that he was, replied, "But of course!" and hands the first gentleman the mustard through their open windows. They spoke with what we Americans consider very posh accents, and your accent makes me think of the fancy mustard commercial for its even greater poshness (is that a word?) Who knew? That concludes today's lesson on strange, Amerian pop culture from the 1980s....be sure to leave Teacher a lovely apple for her trouble, boys and girls! Back to my regularly scheduled Beard-viewing pleasure....😌😂🤓🙋🏽
Well I am certainly not going to complain about you being hooked AND I am so glad you are enjoying the series. Also thank you for that amazing bit of pop culture context - I am a fan of such trivia and cultural references / touch points that pop culture (and particularly advertising) creates so thank you for sharing! I'll see you in the next episode!

Now I enjoy fish and chips now and again but for every meal for the whole year!
😂 so true... Guess it's better than just plain potatoes 🤷 can't wait for more food variety in the game though.
