This is 5 things to do in Saint John, much more things like drag racing(the one with cars) in miramichi, hot air balloons in Sussex, methamphetamines in fredericton, the province is your oyster
Thank you for visiting Saint John. I’m the mayor of the city and a proud resident. I found my self smiling and beaming with pride, as I watched your incredible footage. Please come back and visit. Coffee is on me....
@@dondarling3275 I've read & seen so many great things about you. I too, am considering a move to your beautiful city all the way from BC! Let's meet up for coffee :)
I live in Grand Falls NB and we have the big falls that leads in the canyon that we have here and yes also resemble the Grand Canyon not kidding! You can kayak or ride pontoons in it and you can also zip line over the falls or over the gorge "canyon"! Really an awesome spot summer time! :)
I also live in new Brunswick I live up north and you missed alot of nice places like paralee beach bouctouche dunes also the irving park and a island in the middle of bouctouche that has music and plays they put on shediac lobster festival
I'm from Edmundston! I haven't been able to go home in 9 years, I almost cried during this video I miss it so much! A little tip: visit in September/October when the leaves start to change colours! There are so many amazing things to do in NB, the longest covered bridge in the world, the Chocolate River (The Petitcodiac River), the Grand Falls, Botanical Garden in St-Jacques...so many things! You should go back and do a part two, lol. #justsaying
I was born here in Northern New Brunswick. I left the province and lived in Alberta for 25 years then returned to the province for family reasons a few years ago. The province of New Brunswick is nice when you visit but I can't say that much about living here.
I live in Quispamsis- I really love seeing videos recognizing New Brunswick. It's an amazing province with so many hidden gems. For example, I've lived here my whole life (17y/o) and I just found out that Rockwood Park in SJ, a park I've explored tons of times on school trips and with family, is just full of caves and rock formations... it's actually part of the Stonehammer UNESCO Geopark. Did some cave exploring, and it was so surreal- the whole time I had to remind myself that I was still in St. John. Anyways, awesome video. Earned my sub
So much to do and see in New Brunswick. We've spent the entire summer traveling and camping without leaving NB. Great video, thanks for creating and sharing!
I live in Grand Falls, make sure to come here next time the falls are amazing and the gorge as well! And then head towards Riley Brook and Mount Carleton, great hiking and highest peak in NB/NS/PEI great lakes there also:)
When you come back I recommend heading further north to explore Mount Carleton and Kouchibouguac national park, or Raggedy Ass Falls (yes this is the real name), there are so many places further north of Saint John that are beautiful to see. I love my little home on the coast here in SJ, but the province has so much to offer
Love how this video was directed and edited! Absolutely beautiful shots and your commentary is super informative and easy to follow :) keep up the amazing work!!
I was hoping to see Hopewell Rocks there and I wasn't disappointed! Went there Sept 2019, and boy it sure was hella busy during low tide. Parking lot was almost full and their parking lot is huge. The park was beautiful and would also recommend it as well. Real neat to see it during winter.
nice video, thanks for showing our city. The only thing I want to add is that if you like mountain biking I HIGHLY suggest rockwood park. The trails a very well maintained and a lot of fun to ride.
Don't forget Grand Manan island, NB. Such a quaint place perfect for tourism year round but yeah, warmer months recommended. The people are kind, the atmosphere has a timeless quality to it. Hiking, biking, boating, whale watching. Food! Amazing! Sunrise seafoods is a must visit for om noms. The island is surrounded by tiny islands good for exploring if you have a boat or kayak. Beach hill and the hole in the wall and the north head lighthouse are lovely spots for hiking. Watch the sunrise at the North head lighthouse the. Watch it set at the sealcove light house. Rock beaches and sand beaches. Worlds beat dulse. Camping is great, no predator animals bigger than a raccoon. Bird watching is good there too. Basically if you like the outdoors you'll make this your new summer vacay destination. Time it right and you can get a free trip to wood island on their reunion day where the descendents gather for a potluck. It's kinda like a woodsy ghost town since the government forced everyone from there to move to Grand Manan back in the 50s. Anyway. Enjoy!
Maven Esquith merci pour tout ses renseignements! Nous y serons cet été en camping durant nos vacance estival.... nous avons bien hâte de vous découvrir! Enjoy!
Proud SJ native here! People from within always rag on about how bad this city can be, it was nice to see a fresh perspective. Thank you for this video!
I greatly miss my home province and we lived just 25 minutes from Fundy Park- so that was always our go to spot for r and r, any time of the year. I actually love Fundy in the winter!!
Nice look at a VERY limited part of the province. Check out the Saint John river valley, the Acadian coast and go further east on the Bay of Fundy coast to the islands and St Andrews. Your title was seriously misleading but a nice look at Saint John
Winter is amazing in New Brunswick..you missed some great areas altogether...Fundy Park has tons to do, have plan, prepare, execute. Days on end of amazing adventures. Cape Enrage, is like Hopewell, circle the fence. The Bird Santuary in St Mary’s point, Upper Saint John river valley is famous for outdoors activities including World Ponf Hockey on PLaster Rock, off the charts. More snowshoeing, skiing in Mt Farlagne, tubing in Grand Falls along with winter biking trails. Snowmobiling is huge, tone of fresh snow into April.ANother National Park on the East Coast with tons of activities. Miramichi is a gem, with tons to do, Acadian Peninsula has wonderful trails and tons of friendly people to show you around. Greater Moncton, Shediac, Bouctouche, Sackville all have winter activities for all. Dieppe has an outdoor oval as does Moncton. It’s free, as is the hotchocolate and music. New Brunswick is great in winter, plan ahead and enjoy!
Saint John isn’t the only place in NB ya know, I’m from Bathurst New Brunswick, not much to do around my town but there is sugar loaf mountain which is about 1h away in campbelton
Moved to NB 3 years ago from the west coast, and love it here. Actually now call St. Martins home, however you missed out on plenty of great winter experiences that can be had throughout the province. Tons of phenomenal snowmobiling on thousands of kms of trails, take in ice fishing or even skating on tons of lakes and rivers or take in the World Pond Hockey Championships, skiing and snowboarding on a number of mountains, numerous community winter festivals, and much more! Do come back, NB has plenty to offer visitors throughout the year!
Reversing falls is not a waterfall. It is where the saint John river meets the bay of fundy, amd at certain periods in a given day, the incoming tide switches direction because of the outgoing tide from the opposite direction, creating the illusion known as reversing fallsm
Loved this so much! (I'm a New Brunswicker in Charlotte County and appreciate the 'Nod' to Lepreau Falls) - Very well done, and made me appreciate what I have through your eyes... Kudos!
Hello, i plan to visit at end of April, my question is about the Fundy Trail Parkway Road, where you drive around and go to do the sight seeing and hiking, is that road actually closed and not accessible by car until Middle of may or am i able to use it? Thanks

Northern NB really doesn't ever get the recognition it deserves, just saying. This video was no exception. But it's still nice, I'll like.
