Great episode! This tapestry is complicated for such a small piece. I’m learning lots from you on this one.
You commented on humidity and how cotton warp changes. Linen changes too. I discovered linen in your course with Sarah. She mentioned that it feels wonderful while weaving and I found the same …. It is lovely & tactile to touch when weaving. But it does react to humidity. In dry weather, I have difficulty in weaving good selvidges. And in variable humidity my linen warp tension can change from day to day. I avoid it as warp on untensioned looms. But it is lovely to use on a tensioned loom!

The butterfly thing sounds like my knitting. It's perfect, full of promise before I start, but as I go on the imperfections appear :)

I can't recommend Rebecca's book highly enough! It's an excellent resource for any weaver, especially us newbies! Personally , I think It's worth it's weight in gold! 😁

I love this. What did you use to mark your cartoon on the warp? Permanent marker?
