An Oklahoma deputy saved a 3-year-old boy who was choking on a quarter. Deputy William Wheeler saw a woman Friday waving for help outside of a car wash after she thought her son had swallowed a sucker. Body cam video captured Victoria Terrill was terrified as her son Chaz was choking on something. "You know I was panicking, and it sucks that I didn't know what to do," she said Tuesday. Wheeler drove by where they had stopped, and he knew exactly what to do. After pounding him three times on the back, a quarter flew out of the boy's mouth. "You OK, buddy?" Wheeler asked the boy. Terrill said she's forever thankful the deputy was there. "He literally was like a guardian angel," she said. "He just happened to be going by at the exact time I needed him." Terrill said she plans to learn the Heimlich maneuver to avoid future accidents.

The good thing is that the boy was crying and able to speak a little bit. When you hear absolutely nothing from the child or anyone while they’re choking, then that’s a major problem.

And i tryed it..I started to cough and I couldn't breathe..I felt like I'm going to pass out. I was coughing and i did not know what to do,i grabed water and started drinling it fast, then i grabed some bread(it helped a bit).
I started to breath a bit,but that was not helping at all... Then i started to punch my troat (idk what I was doing) then i started to call my mom,she was outside.( I couldn't go outside cause i was on floor,Oof) then she came and i passed out(finally actully,i was thinking)
Then i woke up,yeah she done something that i just don't how.
Nevermind if you were wondering why I passed out,i wasn't breathing whole 2 and a half minutes so...

She was chocking on a large piece of meat and nothing me and my brother were doing was working . She was already becoming unconscious. Nevertheless I knew I was going to do everything in my power so I shoved my hand as far as I could down her throat and that’s how finally was able to get the meat out . What a hero!
Back in the 80s an elderly relative slipped me a 20p coin.
Being 4, I put it into my mouth. My dad was never an especially 'smooth' driver and when my dad braked hard, the coin went down my throat and I couldn't breath.
My brothers alerted my parents that I was fighting to breath and my dad sped up and then slammed the break on as hard as he could. On the 3rd time the coin was evacuated from my throat.
I can still remember looking at the stings of saliva on my hands; the sudden ability to breath; and that weird 'decision' you make to start crying once you can breath again.
Total relief and absolute terror at what nearly happened.
I have had had several close calls over the years but that is one that I can replay over and over again, from different angles.
    I've never had kids.
I was even offered a job looking after kids for some pretty insane money. I said no. There is no money you could pay me to have that level of responsibility.

I almost drowned to death when I was like 7. I saw my sister swimming with my dad and thought I could do it. I sunk to the bottom trying to dig my way up because it wasn’t that deep. It was in a lake. I started breathing in water and my hand just jolted up. It was just a weird natural reaction. I didn’t even move my arm. It just did it itself. I was one gulp of water away from dying and my dad came and swooped me up. Then shortly after he was laughing about me almost dying and threw me back in. He was very abusive.
I know exactly how it feels not to breathe. One of the scariest moments in my life. When I went into foster care almost 4 years later, my foster parents had a pool and I was dedicated to learn how to swim. I went onto being on the swim team in middle school! I’m grateful to be alive.
I’m happy this little boy was still able to breathe and he’s alive ♥️
