But even though they forced her band off stage, she stood out there in the pouring down rain and sang Heart Like a Truck a cappella so that her fans would get to hear it. I’m from Weaver Alabama a little small rural town where we only have 2 dollar general stores multiple farms and a Walmart about 15 minutes down the road in another little town, but I say all that because when I hear Laniey Wilson talk about her hometown, she reminds me of my hometown. She reminds me of some of my friends that I went to high school with went to football games on a Friday night with, played volleyball with. she just gives you that hometown feel and she let’s you know that it’s OK, to like country music no matter who you are. Lainey Wilson made me a country music fan beginning with her song “Things A Man Ought To Know” but over the past two years I have become a Lainey “fangirl” (albeit a senior one, lol) who knows all her songs by heart and can’t wait to see her in concert this fall. You captured the essence of why I also admire her: grit, work ethic, absolutely genuine heart, and the excellent example she consciously sets for the young girls who adore her. Every time I think I can't love her more and her genuine personality, I see something else and I love her even more. She is rare and I hope she always stays true to who she is and never feels she has to be anything else. She is really perfect the way she is just being herself. I saw her for free at the Mirage during NFR 2022 on a trip with one of my best friends to see Miranda Lambert(for the 8th time). Seeing both Miranda and Lainey in the same weekend was once in a lifetime amazing. I will not even wear my Black Lainey Fucking Wilson T-shirt I bought that night from a girl that was selling merch from a single box off in a small corner after the show(no fancy table, literally just standing there with a box and a card reader). I was one of 6 people that bought from her. I will treasure that T-shirt. I stood there and sang along to every song when no body even knew who she was yet. That girl is one hell of a do'er, and never let anyone side track her from being a dreamer.

She also reminds me of a retired coworker/close friend and Lainey is basically how I envision my friend when they were younger as far as interests, personality, etc. I told my friend this she knew of her from yellowstone and she said the same thing. I got to see her in concert last summer in 2023 at the West Virginia State Fair Grounds... She was amazing and she's definitely Danced her Bubble Butt Off in her concerts... Eh not so sure about the Dolly party. Dolly has a very specific vibrato that rings every time she sings and her voice is very bright. Laineys voice is actually similar to Loretta and Reba’s.

My favorite songs from Miss Lainey are Heart Like a Truck, as well as Wild Flowers Wild Horses. She is a real treasure in country music, she is amazing. Very beautiful and sings like an angle, I always enjoy hearing her music blasting in my truck going down the road! She's a pistol for sure!

Saw her last August as the 3rd opener to Luke Combs and Riley Green. Less than half the stadium crowd had filled in yet, but she might’ve gotten the biggest ovation of the night after she sang ‘Heart Like A Truck’. Truly wild to see her meteoric rise.

I worked on Music Row for quite a few years during the 90's country music boom, and I wasn't even into country. But, man, Lainey's been killin' it. And she's right, that's exactly what it takes, putting in the hard songwriting work. It's all about the songs, and she's proven that. The song craft on her latest album is off the charts. I've loved Lainey Wilson since she released the album Redneck Hollywood in 2019... She is just so Adorable and her voice just draws you in. I got to see her in concert last summer in 2023 at the West Virginia State Fair Grounds... She was amazing and she's definitely Danced her Bubble Butt Off in her concerts... I think she could be the Next Dolly of Country Music...

Lainey Wilson is the perfect country music artist! Her voice is a combination of Dolly, Reba and Lainey! Her style is off the charts! Her country girl accent is quite adorable! Lainey is the real deal!! We saw her at the 2024 awards this past week and she was absolutely amazing! God has blessed this young lady and she has really proven herself to be worthy of it all! ❤️
Eh not so sure about the Dolly party. Dolly has a very specific vibrato that rings every time she sings and her voice is very bright. Laineys voice is actually similar to Loretta and Reba’s.
