My Grandma and Grandad bought this exact model when it was brand new. Paid cash for it so they owned it outright the day it left the lot. Had all the options added to it. Spoiler, fog lights, alarm system, cd changer. I absolutely fell in love with it when I was only 3 or 4 years old. My dad was a Honda mechanic so they got a few deals on the options too. 😊On this video hearing that good ole F22A6 engine wind up was like music to my ears.
I remember seeing these new at Saccucci Honda in RI in Spring ‘93. My Dad was taking delivery of his ‘93 Accord LX 5-spd in Seattle Silver on dark red cloth and the GM was driving a gold SE just like this. The upgraded rims, leather, & Bose stood out & STILL do. Thanks for taking me back!
Not only is this a wonderful example of how beautifully preserved this 4th gen accord is, but also the fact it has over 130K means the owner actually drives it instead of sticking in a meat locker with 20K miles. I wish we all could take care of cars like this, to preserve them for decades while also using them even if it's "just an Accord". Also this video helped me figure out my Vigor was built in September of 1993 so that's cool. I now know when to celebrate my car's 30th birthday, thanks Hugie.
Man, I bought my 99 EBP Civic Si from Bell in March of 1999 for $17455 and later bough my 02 RSX Type S from their Acura dealer in Phx, but also had a 01 Prelude SH in EBP in between. I had my Si totaled on Central and rolled the Lude on the Beeline. The RSX lasted me until Nov 04 when I got my first 3rd Gen TL and then decided I missed a manual, so I traded it and got a 6MT 3 months later. I had a 91 Accord in college that I traded for a 94 in 97 at Showcase Honda. I’ve had 7 more Hondas and Acuras after 2011. That’s why I adore these videos. “Honda Lifer”
Hard to describe how new this looks! Even harder to imagine it's 30 years old. Still looks new. Even the exhaust manifold cover is still nice and black after 30 years and 132,000 miles! Interesting this car was bought on my 17th birthday! My baby my 93 Integra turned 30 this February has 2/93 date. Just turned 120k miles. I'm coming up on year 4 since I bought it in July 2019 with 107k miles. Here's to many more enjoyable miles! Thanks for showing us Hy's amazing Accord!
Wow! So immaculate. Takes me back. This is the generation that made me fall in love with Accords. I wish my 10th Gen was this pristine. Thanks for posting.
Same here, I fell in love with the Montana Green 93 Accord Coupe SE but never got the chance to own one, my second car after my Mazda Mx6 GT was a 95 Honda Accord Ex I named Goldie back in the early 2000s. She had 93k miles on the Odometer when I purchased her for $1600 and she was spunky lol I love Hondas and Acuras to this day, now I daily drive an 05 Acura TSX with 250k miles and she's a beautiful car.
My older brother’s first car was a 91 se in silver with black interior. It was lowered on stock wheels. This video brings back memories and makes me happy to see another in amazing condition.
Simply speechless. I bought an Ex with 7 miles back in 1993. Thanks for sharing, it took me back to my senior year in highschool. Love to own one again one day. Please keep me in mind if your friend decides to sell it. Love the channel, keep up the good work. Appreciate you!
My heart is full. I was one of those persons who commented when you posted this vehicle, I believe for the first time, back in 2018 and was wowed by its originality and how immaculate it was and still is. That video is a dopamine hit for me and I go back and watch it every chance I get, so for you to give us an update 5 years later is a reward for us who fell in love with this vehicle. I hope Hy is good. I can't believe cd changers and Bose speakers were all the way from those days.
The flagship of the Accord range before the Touring took over. I remember in the 90's seeing one of these models, the trim levels were of a level comparable to the Germans.
I love HONDA, I own two Civics myself (7th gen 2002 EX and 8th gen 2008 EX) and I feel so happy for discovering this RUclips channel today about someone who shares the same love for these amazing cars. Thank you for the great content.
Absolutely stunning! Makes me happy to see owners out there take care of things so well. Neat thing is it's also a window into their personality. I remember when the 4th Gen Accord came out in 1990. I was I'm 7th grade. I didn't like the looks of it at first but it quickly grew on me. We had a 1986 Accord. The 4th Gen was a pretty large step forward in refinement. I always loved how shiny those wheels were when new.
@Tyson Hugie Yes, that too, but it even goes deeper than that. They tend to have really good likeable personalities. I've met some of the best people at the track and people who are meticulous about their property.
This car is like a rolling museum piece. Very cool - takes me back to the 1991 Honda Accord DX that my parents owned - I learned how to drive on that car. Great to hear that F22 engine running at speed. Thanks for posting this!!
I had a 1993 Honda Accord LX back in the day that I eventually sold because I thought I wanted something more "sporty" but on further thought I wish I held on to it. That car gave me 12yrs of near trouble-free transportation and it had barely 120,000 miles on the odometer. Oh well, you live and learn. #HONDA❤
I love this generation of the Accord!! I had a 1991 black EX with a 5 speed manual!!! I love it’s huge greenhouse of windows and low hood lines!!! I have had many Hondas over the years!!! But I will say this was my favorite generation
Totally agree. This accord se brought back so many memories as my neighbor had one and I would catch a ride in it grim school. I loved the big side windows and low dash. The leather interior really upgraded experience compared to the Camry my parents had.
Every Honda start sequence from that era goes "Epp Epp Epp...vrooom" LOL. I'm digging that umbrella holder...I just may have to request to borrow that patented pending bit of work for my cd changer bracket lol.
I remember when the 4th gen Accord was revealed and the general sentiment at the time was "boring". I believe "timeless" would be the best description. Beautiful, simple, classic lines.
It makes me so happy that there are people out there preserving this era of automotive history. The "standard" ( middle-class? ) cars of the 80s and early 90s (especially the early 90s) don't get the appreciation they deserve.
I don’t think I’ve seen an Accord that reminds me so much of a Legend L sedan. Obviously there are differences but it’s about as close as I’ve ever seen. Beautiful car.
Yes this has huge Acura Legend energy.. I know the Legend offered a red leather interior... in the accord SE with the black dash i think the red would have popped offff
Actually it's an interesting story about why it was ever done. As many already know the dreaded motorized shoulder belts were used for the first 2 years followed by driver's side air bag for '92 and '93... except the '93 SE. For some reason only the SE sedan (not the coupe) came with dual front airbags. What's unclear is Honda ever bothered? For one year, one model, they just decided to spend what must have been enormous resources developing, testing, redesigning a one piece dash for a limited edition model just to accommodate a passenger airbag. The cost of the tooling alone must have cost millions with no hope of ever recouping the investment, or did they? Since the '94 (5th gen CD5) were designed to include dual airbags the following year my thought is this. Honda liked to run concurrent models along the same assembly line. Before ramping production Honda typically would run both old and next generation models on the same assembly line at a slower rate. This was done to gradually familiarize the employees with upcoming model assembly techniques. During those days many components and sub-assemblies were carried over from previous generations. By implementing the passenger side airbag on the 93 SE sedan it would gradually expose workers to the assembly process earlier for the upcoming Accords. Just a thought...
I wish every person took as good of care for their car as this guy does. What a beauty! It literally looks brand new 30 years later! He's got a cream puff for sure! I hope he never sells it and keeps it for more years to come!
Kudos to your friend for keeping this Accord looking so great! I can honestly say I certainly do miss this era. BTW I just happen to be binging on your vids tonight!
Happy birthday to a classical car. I always wanted the green two door coupe but was too young. Settled for the gold four door CD5 yrs later. Honda, the greatest cars ever made.
What a beautiful car...the cb7 is my favorite Honda I would love to own one in showroom condition like this...thanks for showing us this car again I remember you made a video of it a few years ago...my compliments to the owner for taking immaculate care of it 😎
So beautiful! Hondas may be styled conservatively, but this car shows that they age very well when cared for and still look relatively modern! They are timeless like, may I say it, a Porsche 911!
Always loved these CB SEs. Had a 95 Prelude SE in the same color in/out. Can't beat the Black & Tan interiors for my $. Adored that car. Still have a 94 Si :) Man that thing is gorgeous...Soooo clean.
I bought a 2001 Honda Accord with leather interior used back in 2004. I still drive it today as my daily driver and it is still just as smooth as the day I bought it. It has over 226k miles on it. Someone offered to pay me $5k for it, even though it's book value is $1k.
What I like about the '93 compared to the new Accords. - Vinyl headliner - Rear door courtesy lights - The user-friendly layout of the dash controls - Less electronics (less stuff to prematurely brake) - Replaceable headunit for aftermarket I had both 93 and 2018. I still miss my 1993 more than my 2018.
Ten years ago, when I turned 22, I could have bought a fully loaded 1993 Frost White Honda Accord SE Coupe with under 60,000 miles and a clean title. I'm from South America, though, and these cars are pretty rare out there and too expensive to maintain. After I checked some parts' prices, I gave it up and went to Toyota. The owner later told me that he had sold it to a guy. Three days later, that guy parked it on the bottom of a steep street when an uncontrolled small truck hit and totaled it. Luckily the guy wasn't inside the car. RIP Accord.
Pausing on the log book - does this guy live above a mechanic shop or something?! It was like every 300 Miles something was serviced 😂 I mean .. we love to see it. Im interested to know more how the car has been used! Is it a primary car? Looks great today but what a treat it would have been in 1993 to pick out the SE model and have it parked in your space for occasional use... it was unique then and its only getting cooler as the days march forward.
Definitely, that could be an entire follow-up video. I know that Hy is a believer is fastidious maintenance and sometimes that means changing oil at 300 miles because it's due for time.
Another great video! I have the same 93 Accord SE with just under 115k miles currently in the same color and trim minus the fog lights and spoiler. It's my daily so I obviously have a few paint blemishes and dings but still in great condition. I get offers for it all the time so I could imagine how many offers this owner gets when he's out with it. Hopefully I can run into this car one day since I live in AZ also, I would love to see them side by side.
I bought a 1993 Anniversary Edition in August of 1993. Car was totaled in the spring of 1998. I replaced it with a 1993 SE like the car in the video. Still have the car. It now has 354,000 miles on the odometer. The Texas heat, sun and lack of wax has taken its toll on the body. The car has some issues but it’s still going.
I had a 91 ex and the clock would light up without the key in the ignition when you pushed the button next to the clock. Always thought that was cool about these accords. Very cool car he has, and i love that color.
That is one beautiful, Accord. Congratulations on your special anniversary. #HONDA❤ I have a 2022 Honda Accord Sport Special Edition that's about to have its one year anniversary since I purchased it and you just gave me goals to aspire to. 😁👍
Man, this 1993 Accord looks amazing! This Accord though wouldn't survive 30 years in areas with Snow and Salt only because the rust would eat this Accord away by now. Made In Japan unlike the Honda/Acuras today in 2023.
I owned a 93 LX in the light/emerald green. It was my 2nd of 3 Accords so far. I miss it much. I'm guessing this car is long sold, but I would be tempted to buy it today. Cheers!
Getting ready to paint my 90 accord, deciding on trim. This is the only stock CB7 I've found with completely color matched trim? Was it an SE exclusive thing?
I swear, Honda's look better as they age. May Hy enjoy this beautiful machine for many years to come.
Exactly!
With mileage that low in that particular year model, I can see an extra 30 yrs of life in that Accord.
Agree

I wish every person took as good of care for their car as this guy does. What a beauty! It literally looks brand new 30 years later! He's got a cream puff for sure! I hope he never sells it and keeps it for more years to come!
Agreed! It looks and runs as good as new.
Kudos to your friend for keeping this Accord looking so great! I can honestly say I certainly do miss this era. BTW I just happen to be binging on your vids tonight!
Haha, thanks for that!
My accord has 8 million miles and it still has all the original fluids from 1991. Amazing car
Congrats
Wow! Just wow! I owned a ‘90 Accord EX with a 5-speed. Wish it was still in my life.
Those are great cars!
CB7/CB9 Accords #1. What a great, preserved engineering and design automotive perfection!
Definitely!
Happy birthday to a classical car. I always wanted the green two door coupe but was too young. Settled for the gold four door CD5 yrs later. Honda, the greatest cars ever made.
Agreed!
What a gorgeous example! That's a time capsule, if I've ever seen one.
It really is!
Beautiful Accord! That is really odd that the VIN sticker is on the rear driver side door jamb!
I agree!
Thank you for this video, brings back so many nice memories.
You bet!
I got a clean 91, It’s not fast, but it is the best vehicle I’ve ever owned in my entire life.
Reliable doesn’t even begin to describe it
Very nice!
What a beautiful car...the cb7 is my favorite Honda I would love to own one in showroom condition like this...thanks for showing us this car again I remember you made a video of it a few years ago...my compliments to the owner for taking immaculate care of it 😎
Agreed!
Wow! What a time machine. Beautiful
Definitely! Thanks Mark!
So beautiful! Hondas may be styled conservatively, but this car shows that they age very well when cared for and still look relatively modern! They are timeless like, may I say it, a Porsche 911!
Agreed Terrence!
Love from morocoo brother ❤ beautiful car ❤
Thank you 🙌
Always loved these CB SEs. Had a 95 Prelude SE in the same color in/out. Can't beat the Black & Tan interiors for my $. Adored that car. Still have a 94 Si :) Man that thing is gorgeous...Soooo clean.
That's awesome, love the 4th gen Preludes
One of the most beautiful cars ever so classy.
Agreed
Like it just rolled off the lot wow just stunning
Agreed!
I bought a 2001 Honda Accord with leather interior used back in 2004. I still drive it today as my daily driver and it is still just as smooth as the day I bought it. It has over 226k miles on it. Someone offered to pay me $5k for it, even though it's book value is $1k.
Well-kept Hondas definitely hold their value
This is a timeless beauty wow
Agreed, thanks!
What I like about the '93 compared to the new Accords.
- Vinyl headliner
- Rear door courtesy lights
- The user-friendly layout of the dash controls
- Less electronics (less stuff to prematurely brake)
- Replaceable headunit for aftermarket
I had both 93 and 2018. I still miss my 1993 more than my 2018.
Good points
Ten years ago, when I turned 22, I could have bought a fully loaded 1993 Frost White Honda Accord SE Coupe with under 60,000 miles and a clean title. I'm from South America, though, and these cars are pretty rare out there and too expensive to maintain. After I checked some parts' prices, I gave it up and went to Toyota. The owner later told me that he had sold it to a guy. Three days later, that guy parked it on the bottom of a steep street when an uncontrolled small truck hit and totaled it. Luckily the guy wasn't inside the car. RIP Accord.
Dang, that's too bad!
The best year of the accords to this day..
I have to agree!
Thee best Honda Accord model ever made!
Definitely!
Those oem fog lights are rare for those accords.
Agreed!
That's awesome, hit me up and maybe I can connect you two.
Damn, I've got a 93 EX with about 140k miles and I thought was clean, but this one is immaculate!
Post a vid of yours sometime!
90-93 is the best looking Accord generation.
for sure
Hands down my favorite Accord!!❤❤❤
It’s a beauty
Just a perfect Accord!
Very much so
I bought a 1993 Anniversary Edition in August of 1993. Car was totaled in the spring of 1998. I replaced it with a 1993 SE like the car in the video. Still have the car. It now has 354,000 miles on the odometer. The Texas heat, sun and lack of wax has taken its toll on the body. The car has some issues but it’s still going.
Glad you're still rocking and rolling, Dale!
I had a 91 ex and the clock would light up without the key in the ignition when you pushed the button next to the clock. Always thought that was cool about these accords. Very cool car he has, and i love that color.
Yes! Some Acuras of that era do the same thing with the clock button/door
Nice. Wish my 99 was all original, but had it painted to freshen it up. My legend coupe is all original tho! Your vids are great.
Thank you!!
That is one beautiful, Accord. Congratulations on your special anniversary.
#HONDA❤
I have a 2022 Honda Accord Sport Special Edition that's about to have its one year anniversary since I purchased it and you just gave me goals to aspire to. 😁👍
Congrats!
Man, this 1993 Accord looks amazing! This Accord though wouldn't survive 30 years in areas with Snow and Salt only because the rust would eat this Accord away by now. Made In Japan unlike the Honda/Acuras today in 2023.
Definitely!
Wow that car is very clean!
Agreed
I owned a 93 LX in the light/emerald green. It was my 2nd of 3 Accords so far. I miss it much. I'm guessing this car is long sold, but I would be tempted to buy it today. Cheers!
Oh it’s not sold. It wasn’t for sale!
❤ أنها تحفه فنيه جميله ورائعه ومميزة هنيئا لصاحبها ❤
Thanks for watching!
Getting ready to paint my 90 accord, deciding on trim. This is the only stock CB7 I've found with completely color matched trim? Was it an SE exclusive thing?
The Accord 10th Anniversary had color-matched molding too. I've seen green and white.
@@TysonHugie Thank you! I googled 10th anniversary, several more color matched. Mines a DX so think it will class it up painting the trim and bumpers.
I love the black dash with the ivory interior.
It’s a great combo
This would go for a haul on BAT!
Probably true!
What a nice car!! And now I want a CB7 :)
Haha me too.
i has this same car. One of my favorite cars i’ve ever had.
@@TeeDeeDubya great ride
beautiful car. very well-kept
Very true
Wow what a minty should be very proud of the way this car has been looked after
Definitely
I picked up a nice maroon 90 accord. with 94k original miles. I love it. Still have my 96 accord but gonna have to get rid of it.
Great rides
Sept 8th is in 5 days. Great looking Accord
Wow you’re right!
timesless beautiful car .. sadly we dont see them anymore
Definitely getting harder to find!
Beautiful! Reminds me of my blue 93 coupe Atlantis? blue green pearl i believe was the color.
I remember your SE coupe! Super clean...
Stunning.
It really is!
How much sheesh clean I own a 10th anniversary one I want this one
Haha I don't think he'll sell!
