Has anyone noticed that the audio is screwed up on certain releases of T2. The stereo channels are flipped. Not sure if it was a fault of the master they used. I bought an American original and also the alliance Atlantis/live boxset. There was 2 of them. One with the grey case for the 2 tapes and the other which had poster art from both movies on either side. I had the latter which also had this audio problem.
What I noticed is that the audio warbles up and down on several copies of T2, including all VHS tapes and the 2014 or 2015 Blu-ray. Crank the volume up during the Carolco logo, and you’ll hear it as the audio fades out.
I think the "T2" tapes were damaged in general. I had one copy but for some reason, the opening previews with the heart surgeon and others were cut off.
This copy here is the owned version of the previously-viewed cassette, in which the :30 TV spot for "Defenseless' is shown. In the original rental version, there's a :30 TV spot for "Aces: Iron Eagle III" on there. The retail version still has the PSA, but also featured the Subway commercial titled "General Information".
All I remember is the rental version and all I remember is the TV spots for Aces Iron Eagle 3 and Defenseless and the spot to buy T2. I do notvremember the message from President Bush or the fitness is feeling great spot or to stay tuned for T2 merchandise
I really wish Orion did the same thing Live did. Nelson Entertainment's tapes make no mention of Orion. Without Orion Pictures Corporation Nelson wouldn't have been able to mass produce VHS tapes of their catalog titles.
I have a copy of Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure on VHS from Nelson and they do mention Orion Home Video on the back and even says "An Orion Pictures release".
There are multiple variations of the opening of Terminator 2. This one, the others with the Subway and fitness PSAs, some copies don't have the George HW Bush PSA, some of them don't have the Aces: Iron Eagle III or the Defenseless promos, or even any film trailers at all, just a Subway commercial and the Fitness is Feeling Great PSA. Thanks for asking.
So there’s at least two variants of the T2 VHS. One has the Subway and fitness commercials. This one ☝️ has George HW Bush, Basic Instinct, Defenseless, the T2 jacket commercial, and the fitness commercial. How many more variants are there?
@@donutsmasher2505 I believe the Subway commercial version of the VHS was the original release issue. The next two might have been later releases of the tape.
1:23 “Alright Arnold.”
Hey, kid, don’t get too excited now. You should tone down that enthusiasm just a little.
Amazing acting
Lmao he was the popular kid at school for 2 days after that radical scene
Oh man i finally found this!!!
THANK YOU FOR SHARING!
I never thought I'd see this again, thanks for the post.
Brings me back to my childhood, watching my dad's VHS movies.
1:23 What on earth was that acting?!

0:05 and now a special message from President George H.W. Bush!
George H.W. Bush passed away tonight.
