I hope that that same team can create that other storage system that I’m thinking of and the one I really want to go alongside the drawers add on is the ME system I’ve always wanted to interact with that on my iPhone and I think that would be awesome if that team can re-create that as a Minecraft add-on as well to go along with storage drawers looks like that is the closest thing to the MMA system
2:30 The reason you can't break them from the sides and only on the top means that there's an entity there that's meant to hold the items like an Item Frame. The entities probably have a dynamic property which lets them "store" information in a JSON format. The block is probably just for show but the entity relies on it.
@@zychai9810 Nothing's immune to /kill. You can respawn an entity when it dies with the same dynamic properties and attributes using scripts. I've done it before with my Displaydestals add-on.

@@anthonymendonca8350 Thats it? Just called "STUFF"? I had too many problems with Storage Drawers to keep using it. Completely deleted it out of storage files.
I hope they eventually either update this add-on to work with vanilla minecraft hoppers or to add a custom type of hopper that works with the drawers, similar to the mod that a lot of Create Minecraft-tubers use. Something I'd also like to see in later updates is an expansion of the drawer textures to accommodate more variety of storage designs!
Ecko, creators can stop their entities from getting /killed. Also, it needs an entity for the front, that's also why you can't break it from that side.
I hope so too. This is a nice Add On for bedrock but since I know what this mod was on JAVA, I cant use this until its more comparable to its counter part I think. Plus Ive used this before ADD ONS were officially released and I had too many problems with it. I think I'll wait a little longer on this one.
If they can't that seems like a relevant limitation to mention in the video. Also feels worth a correction from the video creator that they don't have entites associated with them he was mistaken.
They should increase the amount per drawer cos it’s 32 stacks which is only 5 stacks more than a single chest so they could increase it to 54 stacks which is a double chest worth of items but still overall it’s definitely a great add on
The java version had upgrades that could increase the drawer size and do many other cool things. I dont know if its just a bedrock limitation or a mod regulation but its too bad upgrades are not in this.
This addon is amazing! but has one huge flaw/bug... This addon makes item frames non breakable, editable, and placeable. You can break the block that the item frame is on but thats about it. I think this bug/glitch is somewhat game breaking and I hope that it can be fixed ASAP soon.. but overall an neat addon!
From what I’ve experienced, that happens to any item frame that has a custom item in it (like from an addon) and then the addon gets either updated to change how that item works, or if you remove the addon from the world. Then the item frame remembers that something is in it, but that item is removed from the game entirely, so you can’t break it for some reason. Happened to me a lot with my realm when i was adding addons, removing them, and when the Naturalidt addon got updated to remove ostrich legs and add new things
Same. I’ve noticed that it sometimes creates a frame below or next to the drawers before you even place anything there which is annoying. I’ve had to remove it from my world a few times but I can’t complete a storage area with these drawers because of it. It’s pretty annoying
I'm surprised that no one else experienced this bug @ecko. The mod author @FTB should do something about this ASAP, It's literally game breaking honestly. I personally feel like going forward with Add-Ons, I wish that the marketplace has an standard that all Add-ons have a free version and an paid version. The free version gives you 5 storage blocks, without the "drawer controller crafting" and the paid version with all it's features, so If we decide to like/test out the Add-On after playing with the free version, then the paid version will be an instant buy knowing what it all comes with after trying out the free version. Spark Pets lite version does this best and is the only Add-On that offers an Free & Paid version. I liked the free version a lot, then paid for the Premium version a day later, knowing what I'm missing and gaining. 🧐
@@xgamerzeex7701the dragon fire addon also does this. They give a “lite” version free which gives like 6 “dragons” (some are falcons which are basically phoenixes). But it gives you a great idea of what the full addon offers.
I bought this today and instantly fell in love with it after doing some work with it, I just wished I had seen this video first. I also bought the Sparkly Portals add-on, I love it. Don't need obsidian anymore to get into the nether.
@@BiGG_X Not if you have the Sparkly portal Add-On and create a portal of the same color But, to originally get there, yes you need the obsidian but once you create a sparkly portal there and then you can delete the original obsidian portal, won't need it any more.
@@BiGG_XYou infact actually do need 4 obsidian to craft them, as well as 4 dyes and 1 ender pearl, and you get 4 portal frame blocks of the chosen color as a result. They probably just meant that they don't need to have a portal made out of obsidian blocks, visually. That they have the alternative to use portals of other blocks with a different visual look.
You're right, the chat did say it killed a storage drawer. But they are solid blocks with solid hitboxes. And the drawer was not actually "killed" as it was still there.

@@ecko you sure about that? I blew up a storage container with a creeper and the only thing left was the entity and it still worked without the block... It was just the invisible entity. Squidy had to tell me the command to delete the entity but he told me to take the items out first before killing the entity.
@ecko I get it I saw another showcase showing it like this bug so many people asked if air could be between the connector and drawer and it can so I figured I'd let it be known
I really enjoyed this add-on I have it myself the one thing that I would say it would make it a little bit better is to have it interact with Hoppers just a little bit better
I'm just sad that we didn't get the compacting drawers for items like iron, gold, Redstone. With the drawers addon though, I'm hoping we can get an addon that'll let us connect something to the drawer controller so we can interact with all the drawers and maybe just craft from it. My opinion.
It has a stacking issue. like eggs, it's 16 in a stack, and when I put it in the drawers, maybe I put 64, and when I want to take it out, I press shift and click, inside the drawers It will be reduced by 64, but I only got 16😢
I took a flint and steel to a birch drawer and it doesn't disintegrate. The fire just never goes out. Don't have to worry about losing storage to a fire I guess.

I personally like this out on there's just some issues with the display of some items when you put it on the front of the drawer. Such as the item frame and the bone. Are the ones I have found so far hopefully they get them fixed because it looks super weird.
My friend broke a drawer that had a buncha stuff in it, and now the air that the drawer was place on turns any block into a storage drawer! Pretty neat bug, but it also made some blocks around it unbreakable. Then i couldn’t place blocks around it either. Weird. Also the storage drawer was broken using a custom axe from the Tinker’s Construct add-on. A slimesteel axe specifically. I bet that has something to do with it.
I am using this addon and I have run into an issue: a few drawers went invisibleupon placing, but cannot be destroyed or picked up. i tried tnt, I tried commands, I tried pushing them with pistons. Does anyone have an idea how to get rid of the invisible, indestructible drawers?

In JAVA if you broke the drawer you could move the drawer with all the items still inside the drawer. I loved this on JAVA. Its too bad it does not operate the same. Plus the drawer upgrades were amazing. You could essentially upgrade 1 chest to hold as much as 4 double chests. Im wondering if the nerf has to do with it being Bedrock or a mod regulation. Its too bad because we wouldnt need hundreds of chests for bulk storage throughout our world and it would reduce clutter dramatically.
I bought this yesterday. And, after some testing on an existing world where I have a lot of bulk storage, I'm pretty happy with it. It does come with a mix of both good and bad qualities in my personal experience. Not necessarily with any glitches or problems with the add-on itself, more with how my storage system previously was organized. While it's true, it helps with single-item-bulk storage, the subsidiary items like wood planks and stone stairs that I have small amounts of still have to be separately stored from their main blocks that I have bulk of. Also, instead of how I previously stored massive amounts of bulk items, filling shulker boxes and storing them together in a single chest to keep it all together, I'm now having to make multiple of these drawers to store the same item. So one kind of item such as cobblestone or cobbledeepslate are now in 3 to 5 drawers instead of one double chest with shulkers inside. This somewhat doubles the clutter. Though, once again, this in no way is the fault of the add-on, nor do I have any quarrels with how it works. It would be nice to have the ability to upgrade the storage capacity(I think thats something you can do with the Java version of the mod), but I assume that would cause a lot more problems as it is bedrock edition, but perhaps it is something they can work on updating in the future. But overall, this is my only gripe, and it's mostly due to how I normally store items and is easily fixable by using storage drawers for bulk and using chests/barrels for small storage. This is a great add-on!!
I have since created a new storage room for all of my bulk storage, using shulkers to store minor miscellaneous blocks. I'm very happy with this add-on! It may not be something everyone needs for early game, but for later game, especially for hoarders like me, it's a fantastic add-on that is very useful!
I have a question for anybody who can answer it, has anyone gone to break your drawer and become invisible and you are not able to place a block where it was. But you still are able to interact with it as if it's still there ! Pls let me know if anything will help me understand
Just a heads up I used /kill @e command it completely broke this add-on pack. They still look normal after using it but all your items will be gone and they just don't function right afterwards such as it won't let you play some in certain spots anymore where you had them before and as well as you can destroy some of them and they'll still let you put items in them. Really hope this gets fixed it's quite annoying.
This is a bedrock port of the storage draws mod in Java typically added with create mod packs because create has so many items and automated factories.
Anyone else having a glitch were if you break the block the entity will stay and not allow you to place anything were the old one is I can’t seem to fix it Ive reloaded my wold and tried to trick it ive used commands and even tried taking the addon off but it happens every time
I don’t know why they would but if the feed the beast team reads this comment can you please make it so that if you put hoppers under the drawers it goes into the hopper because that would be perfect for redstone builds
2048 of one item for the basic one, the other ones divides the 2048 in the amount of slots it has so if it has 4 slots it will keep 512 of one item per slot, also yes you can use hoppers
I was debating between if I should or shouldn't get the storage drawers add-on and from what you showed ecko I'm slowly leaning towards getting the storage drawers add-on
The fact these are individual blocks and not like a double chest is sick, allows for sorting our blocks more efficiently Also it’s pronounced “draw” not “draw-wer”
And also Ecko you should make a video called "Why the Minecraft Bedrock Add-Ons are getting so repetive?" since the add on creators released so many duplicated/repetive add-ons (for example dragons, security, dino and other)
Yeah theres like 5 addons called security and 2 addons called furniture and stuff, i think ecko should make a video to inform creators that we HATE that.

I literally just bought this as soon as you showed the item sorter, i was sold.
Frying table is now out for the kitchenwear update for the Farming Podcrash update. There is also a pot, kettle, grill,and a fridge.

Just make 2 of them, that's still about the same cost of a double chest with 10 extra stacks of capacity

This is and warpstone add-on are my absolute favorite add-ons I’ve bought… I can’t even tell you how happy I am about this!!!!

If you notice when he ran the kill command, the chat said killed Storage Drawer #.I think the entities are for showcasing the Item like an item frame.

So one kind of item such as cobblestone or cobbledeepslate are now in 3 to 5 drawers instead of one double chest with shulkers inside. This somewhat doubles the clutter. Though, once again, this in no way is the fault of the add-on, nor do I have any quarrels with how it works. It would be nice to have the ability to upgrade the storage capacity(I think thats something you can do with the Java version of the mod), but I assume that would cause a lot more problems as it is bedrock edition, but perhaps it is something they can work on updating in the future. But overall, this is my only gripe, and it's mostly due to how I normally store items and is easily fixable by using storage drawers for bulk and using chests/barrels for small storage. This is a great add-on!!
I have since created a new storage room for all of my bulk storage, using shulkers to store minor miscellaneous blocks. I'm very happy with this add-on! It may not be something everyone needs for early game, but for later game, especially for hoarders like me, it's a fantastic add-on that is very useful!
Does the draws work with redstone
I have a question for anybody who can answer it, has anyone gone to break your drawer and become invisible and you are not able to place a block where it was. But you still are able to interact with it as if it's still there ! Pls let me know if anything will help me understand

Yes I've had this issue as well, id recommend creating a backup of the world before placing drawers just in case of this issue
My wishes would be:
Hopper functionality for the controller and the drawers
Locking functions
voiding upgrade
Mines bugged trying to replace it but there’s no drawer there don’t know why it’s bugged
Just a heads up I used /kill @e command it completely broke this add-on pack. They still look normal after using it but all your items will be gone and they just don't function right afterwards such as it won't let you play some in certain spots anymore where you had them before and as well as you can destroy some of them and they'll still let you put items in them. Really hope this gets fixed it's quite annoying.
Hope they will add other material like sand or log ...ultimatly every material will be nice

This is a bedrock port of the storage draws mod in Java typically added with create mod packs because create has so many items and automated factories.
Storage drawers existed long before create. Playing modded in general you need more storage XD

Anyone else having a glitch were if you break the block the entity will stay and not allow you to place anything were the old one is I can’t seem to fix it Ive reloaded my wold and tried to trick it ive used commands and even tried taking the addon off but it happens every time

2048 of one item for the basic one, the other ones divides the 2048 in the amount of slots it has so if it has 4 slots it will keep 512 of one item per slot, also yes you can use hoppers

The fact these are individual blocks and not like a double chest is sick, allows for sorting our blocks more efficiently

Yeah theres like 5 addons called security and 2 addons called furniture and stuff, i think ecko should make a video to inform creators that we HATE that.
I will say for other ppls sake you can brake them from the front you just need to be like 4-5 blocks away is all
You should check out the other FTB addons like Expanded Food, Expanded Storage, and Project Power
None of those are addons
