    Hi Deen & Alette, bedankt voor het vastleggen en delen van deze mooie wandeling. Helaas kan ik zelf niet meer dit soort wandelingen maken. Maar gelukkig kan ik nog wel meegenieten van dit soort wandelingen door jullie prachtige video verslagen. En dit was best een flinke wandeltrip met gelukkig ook wat vlakkere stukken bij bredere paden die naar jullie hut leiden. En naar de Falkenhütte is het toch ook weer dalen en daarna stijgen. Ik kijk al weer uit naar het vervolg. 🆒🎦🎬👌👍🚶‍♂️💪👋🍀

      Hi!!
      Dankjewel voor deze mooie complimenten! Erg leuk om te horen, van onze meest trouwe fan
      ❤ Wat jammer dat je niet meer zulke wandelingen kan maken. Vroeger wel gedaan? Hopelijk kan je op deze manier nog inderdaad wel wat mee genieten. Erg leuk om te horen, want daarvoor maken we ook juist deze video's! Zodat iedereen toch 'virtueel' mee kan hiken met ons. De hele tocht was een flinke klim en daling, elke dag opnieuw. We hebben goed onze benen getraind haha ;-). Dankjewel opnieuw, voor de fantastische woorden!

    Very beautiful! Did they provide blankets in the huts in Austria or did you bring sleeping bags?

    • @Hikaholics
      @Hikaholics  Год назад

      Hi Oskar! Thank you, they did provide blankets. But we brought our own sleeping bag liners with us. It was during the pandemic a rule (when we were there),but it is also for hygiene reasons good to have your own liner with you. If you are going to book a hut in Austria, you can check their website to see what they provide you with. Hope this helps!

      Hi Ivan!
      Thank you so much for your kind words.
      Here is the GPS track of the original plan of the hike: www.alltrails.com/explore/map/map-d7aab42--52?u=m&sh=lhy5ts
      But we ended up going to the ' Dalfaz Alm' after the Erfurther Hutte'
      The original plan has 4000m of elevation gain, and I believe how we hiked it it has a bit less. Maybe around 3600 m
      We hiked the trail during the beginning of September.
      Hope this helps! When are you planning to hike it?

      That's so exiting! It was an 18 km hike and we took it very very slow. Not sure how long it took us anymore to be honest, but we probably left at 10 in the morning and arrived at 6pm at Karwendelhaus. Hope this helps?

    • @Hikaholics
      @Hikaholics  Год назад

      It was a long time ago but we think it was around 20 euros per person per night in a dorm. But we had a discount because we are members of the dutch climbing association (NKBV) We did book in advance although it was not necessary everywhere. We booked a week before and since it is not a very well known are the huts are not too packed. Are you planning to do this trail as well?
